My oh my, what a wonderful day!
Hello from a chilly Magic Kingdom! With less than a week until Christmas, it seems the weather has decided to cooperate and give us sweater weather, so we can wear our ugly Christmas sweaters without profusely sweating in the Florida heat. Let’s see what’s going on around the park!
The construction walls at Magic Kingdom’s front entrance have shifted to reveal new planters! These new planters have a wide edge for seating and are filled with festive poinsettias.
Another change to the front entrance construction site is that the walls in front of the new building have been replaced with metal barricades, allowing for a better look inside.
A new storybook playset is available throughout Magic Kingdom. It’s a Frozen-themed one and includes the figurines of Anna, Elsa, and Olaf. It costs $19.99.
Holiday totes are now $15 with the purchase of any merchandise. They were originally $24.99.
The new Disney x Kate Spade collection has been restocked in Uptown Jewelers. Earlier in the week, the new bags had sold out, except for the wallets.
We discovered a few more pieces of 2020 merchandise in the Emporium. A whole display is now set up where the Christmas ornaments once were.
There’s a 2020 beach towel that features the Fab 5. It retails for $26.99.
There’s a blue toddler tee for $17.99.
There’s also a pink youth shirt for $19.99.
This pen takes us back to our fifth grade days, when this would have been a must-have school accessory. This 2020 Mickey pen is $12.99 and has multiple ink colors.
More items have appeared in the recently released retro cherry kitchen housewares collection.
We’re obsessed with this new plate set.
There’s a fun pair of mugs with adorable packaging…like so adorable we think we would actually keep the box.
Finally, there’s a pie dish that is so cute that we might have to start baking, so we have a reason to buy it. To see more details and prices for the new items, check out the whole collection here.
The mysterious box in the Tomorrowland Terrace walkway has shrunk to reveal fresh concrete.
Over at the TRON construction site, more work has been done on the supports for the canopy that will cover the exterior portion of the track.
Since a couple of days ago, not much work has been done on enclosing the show building.
The cold temperatures meant a short wait for Splash Mountain.
Over near Agrabah Bazaar in Adventureland, Aladdin was bundled up in his winter coat.
We ended our day by watching Panchito Pistoles shake a tail feather during the Move It! Shake It! MousekeDance It! Street Party. Now that song is going to be stuck in our head for the rest of the day…
