- In addition to the Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor cast, the entire cast of Citizens of Main Street has been laid off as well
EPCOT
- The Wine & Dine Festival Favorites booth has a new item on its menu at the Taste of EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival — the Roasted Lamb Chop with Mint Pesto and Potato Crunchies — and we have a review for you
- Work on the France Pavilion’s expansion at EPCOT continues, with small details being added and altered every day, and we have your construction update right here
Disney’s Hollywood Studios
- After successful testing, Disney has installed Plexiglass dividers to all of the ride vehicles on Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance
- News of equity performer layoffs is surfacing at Walt Disney World, affecting many of the beloved and tenured entertainers of the Citizens of Hollywood troupe at Disney’s Hollywood Studios
- In addition to the Citizens of Hollywood, the entire cast of “Beauty and the Beast – Live on Stage” has been laid off as part of the most recent entertainment cutbacks
Disney’s Animal Kingdom
- The latest wave of entertainment layoffs has hit “Festival of the Lion King” and “Finding Nemo – The Musical” as the entire cast and crew of both productions have been laid off
Disney Springs
- Disney has shared a first look at concept renderings of Everglazed Donuts & Cold Brew, the specialty food and beverage location opening soon at Disney Springs West Side
Walt Disney World Resort Hotels
- The last of the few of the iconic crossbeams left on the roof of the Great Ceremonial House at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort have been removed
- Beaches & Cream Soda Shop at Disney’s Beach Club Resort is famous for its Kitchen Sink Sundae, which Cast Members would announce to the entire restaurant by a raucous display of yelling, sirens, and clapping, but after careful review of health & safety measures, that tradition is now suspended
- After over 40 years of “foot-stompin’ fun” at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground, the extended closure of select shows at Walt Disney World has resulted in the entire cast of “Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue” to be laid off amidst the latest wave of layoffs

- After Walt Disney World announced the long-awaited makeover of its classic entrances yesterday, work has officially begun on the entrances with just under a year to go before the anniversary celebrations begin
Disneyland Resort
- When asked today about the repercussions of businesses remaining closed surrounding Disneyland and why the theme park could not reopen sooner, Governor Gavin Newsom refused to mention Disney or Disneyland by name but remained firm in his beliefs that to reopen such a large theme park could lead to widespread transmission of the pandemic within the state, if not nationwide

- There’s a long Japanese tradition of bringing home gifts called omiyage for friends, family, and coworkers after travelling, usually in the form of snacks or small trinkets and now to celebrate two of their more popular choices, Tokyo Disney Resort has released two new coffee mugs themed to Chocolate Crunch and Tomato Snacks
- Embrace your royal side with this new peach-colored Disney Princess crown ear headband now available at Walt Disney World
- Merchandise from Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge can be found in Downtown Disney District at the Star Wars Trading Post, and we noticed some new pins and a new youth T-shirt there
- Exploring Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge will turn up many treasures to delight fans of this popular franchise, like these new Boba Fett and Maz Kanata plush toys

- Star Wars star Oscar Isaac has reportedly been tapped to play the lead character in Moon Knight, an upcoming Disney+ series about the comic book superhero of the same name

When does the upper executive layoffs begin? Chapek and Iger need to fall on their swords for the Disney greater good.
To be brutally honest, Disney parks without these entertainment shows, character greetings, parades, etc. make it little more than a Six Flags park with crappier thrill rides. I won’t be going back until this entertainment returns.
