Seasons greetings from a foggy Walt Disney World! We are hopping around quite a bit today, so let’s get started!
Our first stop of the day is at the Transportation and Ticket Center where Monorail Yellow has returned from refurbishment with a refreshed look.
After a quick spin on the Resort Monorail, we made our way over to Disney’s Yacht Club Resort to check out some of the refurbishment progress.
A new “Cast your cares away” trinket tray is available now at The Market, as well as a gluten friendly Holiday Plant Based Brownie.
On our way to spend part of the day at EPCOT, we jumped aboard the Monorail again for sky-high views of the construction down below including the newest structures rising at Journey of Water.
Back on the ground inside the park, Gateway Gifts has a new red and yellow tie-dye Mickey Mouse face slap bracelet.
Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind continues paint and patchwork, as the arms of the attraction have recently seen a refreshed paint job on one side.
Roofing continues to be built at the new Connections Cafe and Eatery in World Discovery as large windows are installed as well.
Creations Shop has a new 50th anniversary window display under the breezeway that features a large blue and silver “50” with the Spaceship Earth pattern behind the mannequins modeling the 50th gear.
Souvenir bowls are currently the new placeholder prize for Olaf’s Holiday Tradition Expedition scavenger hunt and can be found at all of the redemption spots.
A few Sketchbook ornaments including “Raya and The Last Dragon” and Princess Jasmine arrived at Creations.
Pavement in front of the Imagination pavilion is in the process of being scored and replaced, with another new large chunk looking oddly out of shape next to the older concrete.
While Hanukah is over at the sea urchin tank at The Seas with Nemo & Friends, the epaulette shark is still celebrating with the Christmas tree front and center in the tank next door.
A portion of the water nearest to the construction area at Journey of Water is still drained.
Some of the Joffrey’s Coffee & Tea kiosks around World Showcase are now giving guests “self-serve” syrups to help keep the bees at bay.
The American Adventure is down again today due to technical difficulties, the attraction has been down off and on over the past two weeks due to this issue.
While we are not sure what is happening here, one of the Christmas trees in The Rotunda has been placed directly in front of the gingerbread display, although nothing else looks out of place here…
Another section of pavement is replaced in the Japan pavilion in front of Mitsukoshi and scoring now stretched to Takumi Tei.
Back at Creations, the newest 50th anniversary Luxe Logo collection ears are available for guests to purchase.
Two new limited edition The Windows of Main Street U.S.A. and Where Fantasy Grows Terrarium pins are at Pin Traders.
Over at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, a new Star Wars Myster Pin Collection and Tooka plush are at Keystone Clothiers.
A small stanchion rope has been installed at Legends of Hollywood in between the apparel section and Pandora to help reduce holiday crowding.
Tune-In Lounge has a very pretty new drink, the Holiday Bliss now available for the season.
Sunset Club Couture now has its sign installed back onto the building, although the bright blue scrim remains and the sign is still in rough shape.
