Aerophile Helium Balloon at Disney Springs Closing for Refurbishment on October 17

The Aerophile helium balloon at Disney Springs will be closing for a brief refurbishment from October 17 through October 27. The world’s largest hand-painted helium balloon takes guests on an 8-minute ride up to 400 feet in the air above Disney Springs. To see the view, check out our experience here.

Characters in Flight at Disney Springs Changes Name to Reflect New Design

Since the characters were already removed from the exterior a few months back, Characters in Flight at Disney Springs will be changing its name effective this week. The new name of the balloon will be Aerophile, named after the company who operates the attraction. The new Disney Springs maps already reflect this change.
