Spaceship Earth wasn’t the only thing sporting a new set of lights tonight at EPCOT. The Walt Disney World Monorail fleet debuted new undercarriage lights for the 50th anniversary celebrations. We caught Monorail Green showing off the new LED lighting. Each Monorail has lights in the color corresponding with its signature color.
It might not be the brand new monorail everyone has been wanting, but Monorail Green made its debut after an extensive refurbishment. UPDATE: Apparently the monorail became disabled and the air conditioning units lost power, so the windows were removed from the inside to allow for air flow inside the cars.
