Welcome to another glamorous day here at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. It’s beginning to look a lot more like Tinseltown with all the holiday decor hung about. More holiday decorations have gone up around the park and it’s feeling pretty festive around here.
As soon as we arrived at the park, there were scrims and walls around the entrance near the ticket windows. We’re not sure what’s happening over here, but it looks like every park now has construction around their entrances again. We’ll be keeping an eye on it for any changes.
The decorations really make you want to sing Christmas carols.
We were so excited to see that Dinosaur Gertie has finally gotten her Santa hat over at Echo Lake. She looks adorable with her hat and ornament now.
Over in Toy Story Land, all the decorations have been put up around the land. Woody is ready for the cool winter weather ahead with his red and white striped scarf.
More decoration can be found around the land such as popcorn garland, a macaroni Angel Kitty ornament, and a giant Hamm sugar cookie. Even the aliens have gotten in on the holiday fun.
You’ll have to look up to spot Rex. He looks so cute in his reindeer antlers up along the track for Slinky Dog Dash.
Slinky Dog Dash has also finished its outdoor shade queue. It was partially completed back in September, but now it’s looking great!
Let’s march on out of Toy Story Land and check out the rest of the park.
Some of the wreaths are hung with great care, but still need to be plugged in.
Santa is dropping into the Fire Station for a quick delivery of presents.
We spotted some mischievous elves on the shelves of It’s A Wonderful Shop.
You’ll find a box for George Bailey located just outside of Keystone Clothiers. This is such a small detail that probably gets overlooked quite often.
More Christmas decor can be found inside some of the shops and restaurants, too. We spotted some nicely decorated trees inside the Tune In Lounge and inside Baseline Tap House.
Inside Celebrity 5 & 10, we noticed that the FuelRod machine has vanished. Cast Members were unsure if it was gone for good or just for repairs, but thankfully you can still find swapping stations inside Rock Around The Shop and PizzeRizzo.
Inside Celebrity 5 & 10, we also found an interesting Alien Swirling Saucers mug for $24.99. It doesn’t look like the easiest mug to drink from, but it sure is cute.
Legends of Hollywood is set up with all the cutest holiday merchandise.
The bathrooms across from Grand Avenue seem to coming along. Crew is actively working on painting and installing framework to the exterior of the building.
The wait time board outside of Backlot Express is either broken or hasn’t been turned on. It’s just a blank screen.
Walls are up around the Star Wars: Path of the Jedi and the Xbox Game Port in preparation for the new Mickey Shorts theater opening next Spring.
Let’s head over to Batuu and check out what’s happening there.
It looks like this youngling is hustling someone in a game of Sabacc.
The damage to the Milk Stand has still not be repaired, but at least the Cast Members are still smiling!
The children’s plant-based pasta has gotten a new name. The Peka Pasta Rings is the same as the Ithorian Pasta, just a new name.
Another name change has happened inside Ronto Roasters. The delicious Ronto Chips are now called the Galma Snack Sampler.
Three new window displays have been installed outside of Mickey’s of Hollywood featuring the Disney Skyliner. Unfortunately, one of the windows is experiencing some “unplanned downtime.” The cracked window is currently patched up with tape.
A new reversible Frozen 2 lanyard has arrived at the Dark Room for $12.99. This icy blue lanyard features Anna, Elsa, and Olaf.
Stitch is ready for the holiday season in this cozy little outfit and slap bracelet. Several gift shops around the park have mascot Stitch plushes, and this one can be found in Mickey’s of Hollywood.
Jedi Stitch has his tiny blue lightsaber inside Tattoine Traders.
This lightweight Incredibles top can be found at Municiberg Gifts for $34.99.
It’s been a busy day here at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, but we’re gonna get out of here. We can’t wait for all the holiday festivities to start here at the park, so be sure to stay tuned for all the updates!
I anticipate tons of comments joking about the Skyliner window. It’s too irresistible not to make wise “cracks.”
Is there a Nativity Scene at Disney Hollywood? There was once one a few years ago when my family went. I hope they still have it.
I don’t know what your talking about with the milk stand…
