When you’re at Oga’s Cantina, you live, breathe, and imbibe by Oga’s rules.
Back when the cantina opened, it offered three highly-popular souvenir mugs and vessels: a Porg mug, a tiki-inspired Battle of Endor mug, and the oft-sold out Rancor Tooth Beer Flight board. Despite incredibly high demand for these mugs, people were often burdened with being essentially forced to pay an upwards of $30 or $40 for any of these respective drinks when ordering them. (You can only keep so many porg mugs in a kitchen before officially declaring a porgfestation, you know.)
Now, new menus are offering cantina patrons the chance to get their favorite cocktails and mocktails without locking them into a souvenir mug purchase:
You can now get the Cliff Dweller for just $6.00. If you’re heading out there for the mug, you can still get them by asking. (The drink with the mug will set you back $32.00.)
Cliff Dweller – Citrus Juices, Coconut, Hibiscus-Grenadine, and Seagram’s Ginger Ale
Everyone agreed that the Cliff Dweller was the surprise favorite at Oga’s. It’s well-balanced and tasty with a blend of citrus, coconut, and hibiscus grenadine. We didn’t even care there wasn’t any alcohol in this. It’s a clear winner, and the mug is very cute.
Over on the alcoholic side of things, you can now get the Yub Nub for just $15.00. As with the Cliff Dweller, you can still also get this with the mug, it’ll just cost you $42.00.
Yub Nub – Malibu Pineapple Rum, Sailor Jerry Spiced Rum, Citrus Juices, and Passion Fruit
The passion fruit in the Yub Nub overpowers here, but not in a bad way. This is your typical, tropical rum-based drink. It isn’t life changing, but serves its purpose as the fruity rum drink on the menu.
The Rancor Tooth Beer Flight board offers a sampling of all four beers on tap (all of which are still available as full-size pours) and is still available upon request, given that it’s in stock. The Rancor Tooth Beer Flight Board retails for $75.00.
Will you be stopping into Oga’s Cantina more often now that you can get your beloved Yub Nub rum drink without burdening your cabinets with yet another mug? Do remember that same-day reservations are required for the cantina, so plan ahead.
