Welcome to another glorious day here at the Magic Kingdom. It’s a sunny, breezy day here at the park, and the crowds aren’t too bad. Let’s start our day with a little shopping on Main Street U.S.A.
The new Space Mountain Wishables are available for $9.99. Space Mountain is the revealed Wishable, but you have your chance of 4 unique little plushes in the bag.
If you’re looking for a new MagicBand, the Emporium is the place for you. Not only do they have many of our favorite colors and characters available, but 4 new MagicBands have arrived. That’s a whole lotta new bands at once. Of course, Cinderella gets her own limited release band, especially since we’re celebrating the film’s 70th anniversary.
Another limited release band will appeal to your retro side. This Walt Disney World band is made up of some funky writing and bright colors.
Mickey fans will also love this new open edition band.
As much as we love seeing Pinocchio merchandise, it’s just lacking something without Figaro. This open edition band is still pretty cute, though.
Some open edition band “Ink and Paint” pins have arrived at Curtain Call Collectibles. They’re $12.99 each and show some classic animated characters sketched on animators paper.
There’s also a light-up magnet for $12.99 in the Emporium.
Annual Passholder can show off their AP status with a new Pandora Charm. This double-sided charm is $85 and features the castle with Mickey silhouette on one side and “AP” on the other.
Tomorrowland is looking a little different lately. The thematic elements around the PeopleMover track are still being removed. We can see they’re now starting on the side closest to Tomorrowland Terrace and the purple wall.
Aloha Isle Refreshments is still serving both of their “Christmas” floats. We hope this is a permanent addition to the menu, but we’re still confused by the Christmas sign at the registers. It’s February, guys.
Sunshine Tree Terrace was having technical difficulties today and had a very delayed opening.
Peter Pan was escorting a guest around Fantasyland and giving her a tour.
Gaston was on his way to meet his fans.
Splash Mountain’s annual refurbishment is well underway with a large crew hard at work today.
This mysterious box has appeared near Gaston’s Tavern. Most likely some sort of pavement work underneath, but we’ll keep an eye on it.
The “it’s a small world” queue is still under refurbishment, too, but we can’t see much progress.
The line for the attraction is spilling out towards the Rapunzel’s Tower restrooms.
The Bibbidi Bobbidi Boo Cake is still available at the Main Street Bakery Even though it’s not in the display case (but you may want to skip it anyways). We’re told the cake kind of melts into a blob when put on display, so just because you don’t see it, doesn’t mean it’s not available. (Seriously, though, just save yourself the trouble and try one of the other Cinderella treats instead).
Well, that’s about it for today. We hope you enjoyed hanging out at the Magic Kingdom with us and we’ll see you next time!
The Space Mountain plush looks like the love child of an onion and a teapot.
