EPCOT has finally reopened to guests after its long and unprecedented closure, and what better way to re-familiarize oneself with this amazing park of wonder, culture, and innovation than a tour around The EPCOT Experience?
Let’s go and see the future. Since the EPCOT Experience is more of an open exhibit rather than an attraction, features such as queue markers are not as present here as they are on the parks’ rides. However, as a walk-through area, it is still very important to keep socially-distanced from other guests, and be mindful of others as we walk around.
The seating within the building has been moved, so that each table adheres to the social distancing guidelines of 6-feet spacing.
As previously, the various attraction and World Showcase pavilion posters still bring color to the place.
We can see that some tables have had their seats removed, again for social distancing reasons.
Which of these attraction photos is your favorite?
The fun Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure and EPCOT Experience photo opportunity booths are still intact.
We now move into the circular theatre, where we can view the future of EPCOT as designed by Imagineers. Earlier on, we reported that the Spaceship Earth and Mary Poppins attraction previews had been removed from this display since the closure, putting the future of the developments in doubt.
As the Play Pavilion video comes on and the room becomes brighter, we can see that floor markers in the shape of dots have bee placed on the ground, advising guests of where they can stand as they experience the attraction.
Of course, with the display map and video being circular, guests will have to fight the urge to move around the room as they were previously able to do, and restrict themselves to the socially-distant spacing.
