Magic Kingdom
- The refurbishment of the “it’s a small world” facade at the Magic Kingdom now seems to be complete, as the themed scrims are down and the new colorful entrance and exit are reopened for all to see
EPCOT
- We stopped by EPCOT today to check in on Innoventions East’s ongoing refurbishment and Innoventions West’s demolition to see what progress has been made
Disney’s Hollywood Studios
- Plastic dividers have been added to the Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run attraction at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge in Disney’s Hollywood Studios, meaning multiple parties can now board one cockpit, improving capacity for the ride
- Resistance Supply in Disney’s Hollywood Studios has now reopened, but it’s unclear whether it is reopened for good or just for the extra traffic that the holiday week brings
Disney Springs
- After months of anticipation, Gideon’s Bakehouse has officially soft opened at Disney Springs today and we got our first look at the themed occult bookstore inside the bakery
- We also got our first chance to try some of the delicious sweets on the Gideon’s Bakehouse menu, including the new Peanut Butter Iced Coffee, Limited Edition White Christmas Cookie and Cookie Vom Krampus, the Elusive Coffee Cake Cookie and Peanut Butter Cup Cake
- The kiosk outside Paddlefish at Disney Springs which was previously home to Lovepop is now housing Wondermade, a gourmet marshmallows pop-up, and we have your first look here
- We don’t get to spend as much time at Disney Springs as we used to, so we are excited to bring you this most recent photo report as we see what’s new at the shopping and dining district
Walt Disney World Resort Hotels
- It’s been a while since we’ve stopped at Olivia’s Cafe for dinner, so we thought we’d try a few options that we hadn’t before, like Captain Wahoo’s Catch of the Day Mahi Mahi, and the West Indian Tofu and Coconut Curry
- We stayed in a three-bedroom grand villa with a savanna view at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Villas – Kidani Village, and we’re taking you along for a tour of this massive two-story villa

- If you’ve been missing the magical melodies of the Dapper Dans, you’re in luck because Disney Parks Blog will host a live stream of the barbershop quartet performing holiday tunes from the Magic Kingdom today, December 23rd
- After spending their summer in the Walt Disney World bubble, NBA players are now giving back to the Cast Member community with a $50,000 donation to a Cast Member food bank from the NBA Players Association
- Brightline has set the potential timeline for the completion of its Disney Springs high-speed railway station, which was announced last month, to be finished in the second half of 2023

- It’s been raining cats and dogs at Walt Disney World, where several new pet-themed items have debuted and this latest round of cat and dog merchandise includes tote bags, water bottles, photo frames, and apparel
- Fans of Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto can now dine Polynesian style at home as a new Trader Sam’s mug and bowl set are available in BouTiki at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort
- Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort is now home to all things ‘Olu Mel, the turtle character from Aulani, and after appearing on a keychain and a Duffy & Friends plush headband recently, today we found him on a new Loungefly mini backpack at BouTiki
- Two popular items from the Minnie Mouse: The Main Attraction Jungle Cruise merchandise collection are back in stock now at shopDisney
- Winter has officially begun in the northern hemisphere, and while it still might not be freezing cold here in Florida, it doesn’t hurt to stock up on cozy sweaters like these new character and classic Logo knitted sweaters from DisneyStyle in Disney Springs
Entertainment and Media
- In 2015, Big Fish and Frankenweenie screenwriter John August pitched a The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror movie to Disney and while the film never got made, August did finally share some details and illustrations from the pitch on Twitter this week
