Walt Disney World
Magic Kingdom
- We got a temporary reprieve from the impending colder weather, and got one more day of blissfully warm temperatures so with this perfect park-going weather upon us, nothing could stop us from checking out both Magic Kingdom and Disney’s Hollywood Studios to bring you this photo report
EPCOT
- After a malfunction, the Donald Duck audio-animatronic has been missing from his spot in the Gran Fiesta Tour featuring the Three Caballeros for several weeks now and as of today, Panchito and Jose’s animatronics were also removed and all three were replaced with flat cutouts of the characters
- While we don’t know the extent of interior construction, Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind’s exterior façade is slowly but surely coming together as the façade begins to be enclosed
- Today we learned that the “Creating Traditions” exhibit inside The American Adventure will remain in its current spot, while the upcoming exhibit, “The Soul of Jazz,” will be on the opposite side of the American Adventure, replacing the incredible Walt Disney Imagineering artwork that was previously displayed
Disney Springs
- We’ve been watching closely at the construction on the outside of the new M&M’s store in Disney Springs and today, we are delighted to see the giant M&M’s on the building shine at night
Other Walt Disney World News
- The White House Coronavirus Task Force has announced their recommendation that Florida should close down its bars and restaurants
- Even more Valentine’s Day themed snacks are coming to Disney Parks around the world and now we know every sweet treat coming to the Disneyland Resort, Walt Disney World, Hong Kong Disneyland, Shanghai Disneyland, and Tokyo Disney Resort all compiled in one comprehensive list
- Walt Disney World has announced several new entertainment offerings that will debut during and extend beyond Black History Month this year, including the already announced “The Soul of Jazz: An American Adventure” exhibit coming to EPCOT, as well as inviting Disney Springs and Resort Hotel guests to “Celebrate Soulfully”
- Walt Disney World has updated their face coverings policy to include guidelines regarding transparent face masks
- Walt Disney World has also updated the physical distancing guidelines on their experience updates webpage, specifically adding information about how larger parties of more than ten should distance themselves in queues
- Walt Disney World is once again moving its theme park leaders around, bringing new Vice Presidents at Magic Kingdom, Disney’s Animal Kingdom, and one still to be named at EPCOT
- Operating hours have just been posted for Walt Disney World theme parks through Saturday, April 17, 2021
- Hours at all four Walt Disney World theme parks have been extended beginning Valentine’s Day, February 14, through February 20, 2021
Disneyland Resort
- Recently we tried a few new Valentine’s Day crispy treats and a marshmallow wand from the Disneyland Resort and now, there is a new strawberry and chocolate Mickey cake pop for us to try
- Eating and drinking is once again allowed at the Disneyland Resort, and food carts have returned to California Adventure to offer some sweet treats
- After reopening just last month, Gone Hollywood is now closing until further notice at Disney California Adventure
Tokyo Disney Resort
- On January 24th, Mickey’s PhilharMagic celebrated ten years of presentation at Tokyo Disneyland and to celebrate the anniversary, we’ve created a special full experience on our YouTube channel, including a short queue tour and the entire film, shot in 4K, color-corrected, and adjusted to be viewable in 2D
New Merchandise
- Though Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure has not yet opened in EPCOT, new merchandise for the attraction including a Remy ear headband, a talking plush, apparel and more, is now available in the France Pavilion
- With spring quickly approaching, merchandise in bright hues is appearing throughout Disney Parks and today we spotted the arrival of two new mugs to the Emporium at the Magic Kingdom: a pastel nod to Minnie Mouse and an addition to Walt Disney World’s yellow retro collection
- A new Tervis tumbler with vintage-inspired artwork featuring the Fab Five riding a surrey bike while eating pizza and ice cream, is now available at Disney’s BoardWalk Resort
- If you love the mountainous attractions of Walt Disney World and Disneyland, then you’ll love this new “Conqueror of Mountains” mug available at the Downtown Disney District
- After arriving at Walt Disney World first, the Disney California Adventure 20th anniversary puzzle set is now available at Disneyland Resort
- On a trip to Disney’s Hollywood Studios today, we found some adorable new character pair crewnecks that just arrived
- Look at this stuff, isn’t it neat? — your collection can now be complete with this new dress and Loungefly purse inspired by Ariel in The Little Mermaid, now available from Walt Disney World
