Magic Kingdom

- Early this morning, a new small bunting decoration was added to the east side of Cinderella Castle, another “earidescent” decoration that is part of the ongoing preparations for the 50th anniversary of Walt Disney World Resort
- Peter Pan’s Flight is receiving an exterior makeover just in time for the 50th Anniversary of Walt Disney World and the main sign featuring Peter, Wendy, and the rest of the crew, has been removed and with themed-scrim hung in its place
- As you may recall, a coconut Dole Whip was added to the menu of Aloha Isle for the beloved Kakamora Float, personally, our favorite treat in all of Walt Disney World, and now the Coconut Pineapple Dole Swirl Cup is the newest Dole treat to try
- Construction on the canopy frame for TRON Lightcycle / Run has progressed over the last few weeks and today, the final piece of the white frame has been installed, making the canopy framework finally complete
EPCOT

- Sam Eagle presents a salute to all desserts…but mostly brownies as the new-and-improved S’mores Brownie replaces the Apple Tart on the dessert menu at Regal Eagle Smokehouse: Crafts Drafts and Barbecue
- In February, the new “The Soul of Jazz: An American Adventure” exhibit located in the American Adventure pavilion in EPCOT as the exhibit tells the story of jazz music while featuring the characters from the Golden Globe-winning Pixar film Soul, it has now received an update showcasing new maquettes from the film
- The newly updated entrance of EPCOT includes new flags, background music, a fountain, and even new pavement, which we’ve been watching the progress of across the grounds beneath Spaceship Earth and new shrubs appeared, blocking yet another section so more work can begin
- Tutto Italia Ristorante inside the EPCOT Italy Pavilion offers fairly authentic Italian dishes as the restaurant’s menu was created by award-winning chef Joachim Splichal, and we decided to review some of the dishes
Disney Springs

- Spring has officially sprung at Disney Springs with the arrival of sweet Easter treats and making their debut today, Boozy Bourbon Bunnies have hopped into The Ganachery
Other Walt Disney World News

- The busy spring break season means that last-minute visits to the Walt Disney World theme parks have been nearly impossible as the Disney Parks Pass calendar has shown almost no availability over the last two weeks, and this trend continues into April
- The entrances to Walt Disney World continue to receive a blue and gold makeover in preparation for the 50th Anniversary of the Walt Disney World Resort this fall and the World Drive entrance is in the midst of repainting, with progress moving quickly
- The Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA) is calling on the CDC to open U.S. cruise ports such as Port Canaveral following the shut down of the United States cruise ports for over a year due to the COVID-19 pandemic
Tokyo Disney Resort

- At long last, entertainment may finally be returning in (almost) full swing to Tokyo Disney Resort as parades and seasonal events are rumored to be on their way back to Tokyo Disney Resort according to pages on the Tokyo Disney Resort Vacation Packages site, and the exciting new Mickey’s Magical Music World show may make its grand debut in the coming weeks
- As the Oriental Land Company explores additional ways to increase revenue from Guests visiting Tokyo Disney Resort, it seems they will be piloting a new upcharge service — early entry to the Disney Parks for Hotel Guests and the program will be underway from April 1st through June 30th as a test to gauge Guest interest

- Now you can show off your love for Starbucks and The Happiest Place on Earth with a new canvas tote bag that we found at the Disneyland Resort
- A new dress and bowling shirt featuring some Dalmatians has been spotted at The Disney Dress Shop
- While visiting Downtown Disney District, we discovered that numerous limited-edition new pins (and a limited-release Raya and the Last Dragon pin!) have arrived at the World of Disney
- Additional items — including some that are ideal for travel — join the popular “Kingdom of Cute” home line created by Jerrod Maruyama for Disney Parks

- Bob Iger, the Executive Chairman and former CEO of the Walt Disney Company, was interviewed recently by Sirius XM Business Radio about what his plans will be after he officially leaves the company on December 31st of this year

- On WDWNT’s ParksCenter tonight at 9 PM ET, once more unto the breach that is March Madness as the Walt Disney World backstories tournament is in full swing, with the first round over and the competition down from 64 to 32 and the ParksCenter panel will review the first round calls, and make some predictions about the rest of the tournament, which wraps up tomorrow night on WDW News Tonight
