Magic Kingdom
- Painting is almost complete at Cinderella Castle in preparation for the 50th anniversary of Walt Disney World Resort as one of the last roof sections has been finished as of this morning
- We reported back in February that the Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover refurbishment was surprisingly extended through April 3, and now the attraction is now set to reopen on May 1 of this year
- The Walt Disney World Railroad closed in December 2018 so that the fan-favorite, classic Walt Disney World attraction can receive a new track that is rerouted slightly due to the addition of TRON: Lightcycle / Run
- Things are looking more fantastic in Fantasyland as ongoing preparations for the 50th anniversary of Walt Disney World Resort continue with painting on rooftops
- The Friar’s Nook was previously known as the Village Fry Shoppe until 2009 and was home to hotdogs and McDonald’s french fries and today we unexpectedly saw the old menu board highlighting the restaurant’s offerings at the time
- Two brand new loaded hot dogs join the unique menu at The Friar’s Nook in Fantasyland at the Magic Kingdom and you can read our in-depth review here
- Faded Fantasyland roofs are receiving a bold new blue to match the gold and blue color scheme that is popping up all over Walt Disney World and Sir Mickey’s is up next to receive the updated colors and we spotted a brightly painted turret this afternoon above the store
- Cinderella Castle, along with the Magic Kingdom and Walt Disney World Resort, celebrates its 50th anniversary this October and has received more bunting since our last update
- It has been a year without the Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover, and we chronicled everything about the attraction from the early January 2020 fire to the latest extension of its closure

Disney’s Animal Kingdom

- With the lobby of Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort relocated to Gran Destino Tower, the former lobby in El Centro has been mostly untouched and has quietly undergone a renovation

- Blizzard Beach reopened earlier this month after a lengthy closure but will close again, at least for one day, on April 2nd due to the weather is dipping down into the ’50s later this week
- Eco-warriors can rejoice as brand new reusable dining utensils are coming to the Disney Parks this April for Earth Month
Tokyo Disney Resort
- At long last, Mickey’s Magical Music World is making its grand debut on April 1st at Tokyo Disneyland, nearly a year after its planned April 15th, 2020 premiere date and to celebrate, Tokyo Disney Resort is releasing some adorable new plush items, as well as an incredible popcorn bucket
- The Big Pop in Tokyo Disneyland sells popcorn buckets that make Disney Park guests worldwide envious and now the latest offering from the popcorn specialty shop is a bucket that is themed to “it’s a small world”
New Merchandise
- Straight from the Hundred Acre Wood, Winnie the Pooh and his friends will debut as adorable nuiMOs on April 5th and you will likely find them in the Parks and on ShopDisney
- After first arriving in Disneyland last week, a new Aladdin-themed puzzle has now been spotted in Walt Disney World
