Magic Kingdom
- As pandemic requirements relax, extended queue markers have been removed from Jungle Cruise, “it’s a small world”, and Peter Pan’s Flight, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, and Pirates of the Caribbean at Magic Kingdom
- In construction news, the pavement continues to be replaced in Tomorrowland at Magic Kingdom.
EPCOT
- We noticed that distancing was reduced for indoor dining tables at Sunshine Seasons and The EPCOT Experience.
- A trip to EPCOT today revealed that exterior painting has begun on the Creations Shop and a new façade has also been constructed above the breezeway.
- A new “bridge” has recently been added to the roof construction of Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind.
Disney’s Animal Kingdom
- Several attractions, shops and restaurants were down at Animal Kingdom today due to a widespread power outage.
Disney Springs
- At Disney Springs, we found new Gideon’s Bakehouse treats, new merchandise and other updates.
- Although not in the My Disney Experience app Joffrey’s Coffee is now offering mobile order at its Disney Springs location.
Other Walt Disney World News
- With capacity slowly increasing at Walt Disney World theme parks, more theme park reservations are available for mid-June and July.
- As we noticed at EPCOT, Walt Disney World no longer requires guests to wear masks in outdoor theaters.
- New job postings show that Disney is looking for new full and part time Cast Members to fill several new roles.
Disneyland Resort
- With the opening of Avengers Campus in Disney California Adventure, we brought you photos and a video of the new Dr. Strange and the Ancient Sanctum Show.
- Disneyland app now encourages guests to enter Avengers Campus before placing a mobile order for a restaurant within the new land.
- We took a photo and video tour of the newly assembled characters at Avengers Campus in Disney California Adventure.
Tokyo Disney Resort
- In Tokyo DisneySea new 20th Anniversary tickets reveal the new Logo, Time to Shine!” theme and a Mickey Costume were revealed.
- We also did a photo report today to highlight some of the new things happening at Tokyo Disney Resort.
Entertainment and Media
- After its box office success in the first two week after opening, Disney is already developing a sequel to Cruella.
Disney+
- Pixar’s Luca is coming exclusively to Disney+ June 18 and Disney+ has released a featurette, a sea monster clip, and three character posters in advance of the premiere.
