We hopped on the Monorail line to see the aerial progression at Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, Creations Shop in World Celebration, and Journey of Water. Check out our most recent construction update here.

The Creations Shop look does harken back to 1980’s EPCOT for sure, although it’s probably not the first thing we would’ve asked to return from that time period.

Heading inside the park, new palm trees have been symmetrically planted on either side of Spaceship Earth, recreating the past image of what the area used to look like 15 years ago.

After a time at Guardians of The Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind where there was no more progress on the roof after the first two rows had been installed, work on the third row of paneling began today.

Plenty of workers were busy on the pathway in front of the attraction where new cement was laid as well as at the side exit.

A new Annual Passholder exclusive hoodie with our favorite purple dragon Figment arrived at MouseGear.

The Mexico pavilion is once again implementing split entrance and exit pathways, where previously, one entrance had been for the attraction and the other for dining and shopping.

The bridge in front of Italy hasn’t seen much progress aside from some new caulking to the banisters.

At the Morocco pavilion, Restaurant Marrakesh remains a seating area, but cast members now stand outside with Food and Wine Festival passports greeting guests. This is mostly to tell guests they need a mask on to enter.

Although we got caught in an afternoon shower before our time in Morocco was complete, you can see the progress of the solvent used to give the ground a constant wet and shiny finish.

Our last update on Northwest Mercantile at the Canada pavilion had the exterior’s props removed, and work has since moved onto the boards covering the shop, where you can see some brown scrim overlays the missing planks.

Making one last stop in MouseGear again before we left, this youth knit sweater had been spotted as a Disneyland version last year but has made its way to Florida with a Walt Disney World version for $39.99.

  1. Man, i have a hard time getting excited about our trip in October due to the masks. Really thinking about cancelling but will wait a few more weeks.
