Walt Disney World Resort Hotels

• The reimagining of The Wave… of American Flavors has been well underway at Disney’s Contemporary Resort, and today, we’ve spotted the latest sign of progress.
• Disney has now announced the reopening date for the Club Level Lounge at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge.
• A WDWNT reader sent us this email being sent to Disney College Program participants offering them an opportunity to extend their experience and transfer to Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser this Fall.

• The next member of the “Disney Fab 50” collection of character statues coming to Walt Disney World for its fiftieth anniversary has been announced… and it stars one fabulous feline!
• Today the Disney Careers website posted a new job listing for Parking Operations Cast Members at Walt Disney World, hopefully a sign that parking lot trams are gearing up for a return.

Disneyland Resort

• Disneyland’s new “frequent visitor program” is”Magic Key” and more details will be available tomorrow, August 3.

• Disney has given us our first look at the new merchandise coming to Walt Disney World for the resort’s 50th anniversary.
• Ariel and Jasmine are the first Disney Princesses to join the Disney nuiMOs collection. 
• Lovers of Halloween can get a jump start on the spooky season thanks to two new ear headbands now available on shopDisney!
• This month’s new series of Wishables plush, coming soon to shopDisney and Disney Parks, is inspired by Walt Disney’s Enchanted Tiki Room.
• Two new collectible keys will be available on shopDisney.com this month, one is inspired by Alice in Wonderland  while the other is inspired by The Haunted Mansion.
• A new Annual Passholders hoodie has arrived at the 2021 EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival!

Disney+

• While Scarlett Johansson’s lawsuit against The Walt Disney Company has become a bitter public fight, select insiders say that Disney CEO Bob Chapek is squarely responsible for the current situation.
• Season 2 of Walt Disney Animation Studios’ “Short Circuit” series is coming to Disney+ this Wednesday, August 4.
• “Ms. Marvel” has reportedly been pushed back to now debut early 2022 on Disney+.
