Hello World Travelers and welcome to a beautiful, breezy day at EPCOT! Join us today as we journey around the world and discover all of the latest and greatest happenings. EPCOT was designed to be an “Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow.” Although the park has strayed from Walt’s original vision in many ways, the idea of change has not been forgotten, as the park is definitely seeing lots of changes in many different ways right now. We explored just a few of those upcoming changes today, so let’s jump in!

Space 220 Restaurant has officially launched, and the popularity of this new dining location has already skyrocketed! This morning we found that guests were lined up all the way back near Test Track trying to snag a reservation. We were lucky enough to enjoy both lunch and dinner on the opening day of this out-of-this-world restaurant!

Construction continues on the exterior of the upcoming quick-service restaurant and Starbucks that are set to open sometime in the future at EPCOT. These locations will be located adjacent to the all new Creations Shop and Club Cool.

Speaking of Creations Shop, we took some time exploring the new shopping location today. If you haven’t had the chance to experience it yourself yet, then you’ll want to check out our tour here!

Are you ready to rock along to some classic tunes with all of your favorite galactic heroes? Then you should be pumped for the debut of Guardians of Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind! Today we found that work has begun on the sixth row of roof paneling. Although we don’t have an official opening date yet, we can’t wait to join Star-Lord, Gamora, and the rest of the gang when the attraction eventually blasts off!

“Mine, Mine, Mine.”

EPCOT International Food and Wine Festival is in full swing! One of the first booths you’ll encounter on your trip around World Showcase is Swanky, Saucy, Swine. To hear all of our thoughts on this Festival booth, check out our review here!

Venturing into Norway, we found lots of adorable new merchandise! This hoodie, tank top, ornament, and welcome sign all have matching mickey designs with a Norwegian flare! All of these new items are currently available at The Fjording!

We discovered that multiple Tribal masks have been removed from a cart near Refreshment Outpost. Other similarly designed masks throughout the area can still be found however. Not too long ago we saw the removal of a tribal mask over in Adventureland at Magic Kingdom, due to the ongoing cultural sensitivity updates around Walt Disney World.

It seems to have been a rough day over at Garden Railway. One of the adorable tiny trains has derailed, citizens roofs are missing, and to top it all off…

There’s been a “giant” lizard takeover!

We discovered that The American Heritage Gallery had reopened a day early, and we were thrilled to find all new displays celebrating American Indian art! The most notable changes were found at The Southeast, Plains, and California / Hawai’i Exhibits. Take a look at just a few of the new pieces that have been added. To learn more about these culturally significant pieces, check out our full article here.

Spiked Frozen Apple Pie has made its return to Block & Hans, but this unfortunately means the departure of a fan-favorite drink, Arendelle Aqua Lemonade. We will miss this beloved beverage, but I guess it’s time to “Let It Go.”

We found Alice enjoying a cup of “invisibili-tea” over in The United Kingdom!

That brings us to the end of our day here at EPCOT! What upcoming project are you most excited to see debut here at this park? Let us know in the comments below! Have a great day everyone, we’ll “see ya real soon!”
