Buenos días, Ohayō, or simply good morning from Walt Disney World’s beautiful EPCOT! Get ready to travel around the world with us and discover all of the newest happenings! Then hop over to Disney’s Animal Kingdom and join us as we adventure through it’s many lands. Let’s jump right in and see just what today has in store for us!
We started off our day with a trip around the EPCOT Monorail, where we had a birds eye view of all of the ongoing construction inside of the park. Although we’ve seen the opening of Creations Shop and The Re-imagined Club Cool recently, many areas of the park are still walled off and being prepared for the future.
We traveled through time on the iconic Spaceship Earth! Unfortunately, two of the attraction’s classic animatronics still seem to be missing. We hope to see them returned to their proper places in the cave scene and Ancient Rome very soon.
“Remember how easy it was to learn your ABCs? Thank the Phoenicians – they invented them.”
Get ready to blast off at Space 220 Restaurant, which is now officially open! We had the chance to dine at the out-of-this-world restaurant this week. To hear all of our thoughts check out our lunch review here and dinner review here!
We decided to hit the all new Creations Shop, where we found some creative new merchandise! These 3 new Rainbow Disney Collection pins featuring the Transgender, Bisexual, and Lesbian pride flags are now available for $9.99 each.
It was a beautiful day in World Showcase.
Fastpass+ is soon to be a thing of the past at EPCOT. All signage has been officially removed from attractions and replaced with Lightning Lane logos, with the exception of Frozen Ever After. We are incredibly sad to say goodbye to this beloved system.
Snow White happily greeted guests in Germany.
We found that The American Heritage Gallery was not welcoming guests today inside of the America Pavilion. According to Cast Members, this display of cultural history will reopen on September 25th.
We trekked over to Disney’s Animal Kingdom and set off to have a wild time!
It seems that Primeval Whirl is officially facing complete extinction. Demolition has started at the Dinoland U.S.A. attraction, and set pieces have started to be removed. Perhaps the biggest removal being the the final “time travel” archway, which could formerly be seen at the top of the hill, but is now lying on the ground.
We’re sad to say goodbye to all of our prehistoric pals!
Character Banners have soared into Discovery River Amphitheater in preparation for KiteTails! We cannot wait to check out the upcoming daytime show, which is set to debut on October 1st! But in the meantime, check out all of the adorable new decor!
We found Pua and Hei Hei “hanging” out.
There was definitely some monkey business going on!
Speaking of monkey business, we found Rafiki and Timon palling around!
Lightning Lane has struck down over at DAK too, where today we found new signage at Kilimanjaro Safaris and Expedition Everest.
Fichwa! Fellow

See “y’all” real soon!
It’s so great to see Mr. Ray getting some love in the decoration department. I love stingrays, manta rays, and bat rays so naturally I’m a huge Mr. Ray fan!
I’m sad to be losing Primeval Whirl. It was one of my favorite rides, just thrilling enough to tickle that spot. But also very humorous and wonderfully themed to the are it was in. I hope Disney puts something equally as fun into its place.
