Though many guests already got to experience Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure during previews, the attraction and the France Pavilion expansion didn’t officially open at EPCOT until today, October 1. The grand opening also marks the launch of the ride’s virtual queue.

The status of the virtual queue is displayed on tip boards in the park.

Though difficult to see during the day, there were twinkling lights in the bushes leading to the Ratatouille expansion entrance.

The boarding group status sign has been uncovered next to the Ratatouille archway.

You may remember there were several updates to the Ratatouille sign last year before any part of the expansion opened.

The boarding group sign shows which groups are currently boarding.

The entire expansion is now open to walk through.

The merchandise cart just has a selection of merchandise on display currently.

The attraction was actually down when we first stopped by.

The queue reached the Creperie de Paris.

A special PhotoPass opportunity is available at the fountain.

All three signs at the main entrance of Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure have been covered up.

The signs were first installed a year ago, but changes to Walt Disney World’s queue system have since been announced. The righthand sign now reads “virtual queue” instead of “standby.”

The center sign originally read “FastPass+” but has been covered up for now.

The lefthand “single rider” sign has been replaced with one for Lightning Lane, though the service has yet to launch.

Once your boarding group is called, you can approach the Cast Members at the end of the line.

The Cast Members will then confirm your group has been called before you enter the queue.

went to a squeak peek. don’t expect something spectacular but expect long lines for it. it was a good ride, just not a great one like soarin or flight of passage.
