To celebrate the 50th anniversary of Walt Disney World, there have been merchandise releases, new experiences, and most of all, tasty treats. So far today, we’ve had a hand-dipped Mickey Premium Bar, a Great Big Beautiful Sundae, brownies with birthday cake mousse, sweet drinks, cupcakes, and more. And over at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, we kept the sugar train a-rollin’ with a new pineapple treat from the Trolley Car Café.

They also have a “new” Glimmer and Shimmer Pumpkin Mousse, which is the same as the one released for Halloween with the addition of a chocolate 50th medallion.

Glimmer and Shimmer Pineapple Mousse — $5.49

Golden Pineapple Mousse on a Toasted Coconut Crisp with Caramel Cream and Matcha Sponge Cake

This treat is the perfect balance of pineapple and coconut, and those flavors are the stars of the show. The caramel cream and sponge cake do not need to be on this snack as they do not fit in the flavor profile at all, and almost detract from the tropical flair.

The mousse is delicious and light. Great for a hot day. The coconut crisp is the perfect crunch to the mousse and has a great flavor, paired perfectly with the sweet pineapple.

Overall, this may be the best treat we’ve had at Disney’s Hollywood Studios all day.
