Magic Kingdom
- Mickey’s PhilharMagic reopened today after a lengthy refurbishment featuring improved projections and a new scene from Coco which debuted earlier this year at Disney California Adventure.
- Cinderella Castle’s holiday projections have returned from last year in lieu of the Dream Lights.
Disney’s Hollywood Studios
- Santa’s Merry Motorcade is once again rolling down the streets of Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
- There were so many character sightings at Disney’s Hollywood Studios today in celebration of Disney+ Day, so we went to meet them all for you!
- There was also a special cavalcade for today only celebrating Disney+ Day, which you can watch here on the site.
- The holiday finale to For the First Time in Forever: A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration featuring Olaf returned to the show today as the holidays begin at Walt Disney World.
Disney’s Animal Kingdom
- The delightfully charming Merry Menagerie puppet show returned today for the first time since 2019 to Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
- The Holiday Tree of Life Awakenings also returned this evening, and we captured both shows on our YouTube channel.
Disneyland Resort
- The iconic A Christmas Fantasy Parade returned to Disneyland Park for the first time since 2019 last night during Merriest Nites, and we caught photos and video of the entire parade!
- Last night, we caught the Muppets Christmas Caroling Coach during Merriest Nites at Disneyland, and we have photos and full video of the wacky and fun show.
- Don’t miss out on a delicious Holiday Toffee Pretzel we tried at Disneyland, only available for a limited time!
- Also on the delicious list? A new Pink Coconut Churro with a chocolate marshmallow creme, available in Tomorrowland at Disneyland.
- There’s loads of new food for the Life Day celebrations in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, starting with the new Tarkenian Nightflower Cocktail and Kaadu Pork Belly Slider Skewer from Oga’s Cantina.
- We also tried an absolutely amazing Potato Hand Pie and Black Sesame Macaron at Kat Saka’s Kettle.
- But not everything we tried was a home run, the Pork Broth Noodles at Docking Bay 7 Food & Cargo missed the mark in our eyes.
- Mirabel from the upcoming Disney film Encanto is now greeting Guests at Disney California Adventure, marking her global debut at the Disney Parks.
New Merchandise
- We discovered a gold Mickey Jingle Bell Glow Cube exclusive to Disney Merriest Nites at Disneyland Park.
- There’s a new “Happy Holidays” popcorn bucket themed to Toy Story now on sale at Disney California Adventure.
Entertainment and Media
Disney+
- There was a crazy amount of content announcements for Disney+ Day! To start, we got new concept art of the upcoming Obi-Wan Kenobi series and a short behind-the-scenes look on Disney+.
- A Tiana-centric musical animated series will land on Disney+ sometime in 2023.
- While we didn’t get a release date, we do now know that Agatha: House of Harkness, a new spinoff of Marvel’s WandaVision series, will come to Disney+.
- Speaking of Marvel, we got a first look at a number of new Marvel projects in the works exclusively for Disney+ today.
- Chip ‘n’ Dale: Rescue Rangers got a poster and a release date of Spring 2022.
- We got our first look at Hocus Pocus 2, coming exclusively to Disney+ in Fall 2022.
- Disenchanted, the sequel to Enchanted, will also hit Disney+ in Fall 2022.
- Casting and a Fall 2022 release date were revealed for the live-action Pinocchio film.
