- Crews have begun installing more faux rockwork throughout Journey of Water Inspired by “Moana,” an upcoming attraction at EPCOT.
- Even as Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind is completed and opens to some guests, construction continues throughout EPCOT.
Disney’s Hollywood Studios
- Effective tomorrow, May 13, the Mickey & Minnie meet and greets at Red Carpet Dreams in Disney’s Hollywood Studios will no longer offer Genie+ Lightning Lane.
Disney Springs
- As Walt Disney World cracks down on unlicensed cabs, one driver was caught trying to pick up tourists even though he didn’t have a valid driver’s license and had a long history in court for his bad driving.
New Merchandise
- The new vintage Star Wars action figures Spirit Jersey will make a fine addition to anyone’s collection!
- Another version of the newest rose gold Minnie ear headband is now available at Walt Disney World. This version of the headband is adjustable.
- A new golf accessory kit celebrating 50 years of Walt Disney World is now available at pro shops throughout the resort.

Disneyland Resort
- Disneyland announced in a TikTok video that the Red Car Trolley will resume operation at Disney California Adventure this summer.
- A new assortment of limited edition Disney pins, featuring Aurora, Bambi, and more, have arrived at Julius Katz & Sons, located at Disney California Adventure Park.
- The new Disney+ series “Ms. Marvel” debuts on June 8 and Disneyland Resort has just announced that the titular heroine will be coming to Avengers Campus!
- The menu for GCH Craftsman Grill at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel has seen several changes, including new items and price hikes.
- Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disneyland Park has a new electronic Sarlacc creature available at Dok-Ondar’s shop.
- Tangaroa Terrace Tropical Bar & Grill at Disneyland Hotel has seen several menu changes this month.
- The Stanley Cup trophy will be on display for photos this Friday and Saturday at Downtown Disney District.
Disneyland Paris
- Disneyland Paris released a new commercial for Avengers Campus stating it is scheduled to open early this summer.
- Rumors indicate that Disneyland Paris will announce the opening date for Avengers Campus at Walt Disney Studios Park on May 20, 2022.
- Disneyland Paris and Orange have teamed up to launch the new Celebration Quest app.

- The teaser trailer for “Avatar: The Way of Water” reached 148.6 million views in its first 24 hours online.
- In an interview with E! News, Zac Efron said “of course” he would be interested in doing another “High School Musical” film.
