- Construction walls have been set up around the Plaza Restaurant, covering the entrance nearest to the Tomorrowland Terrace.
- Work continues on the refurbishment of Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, and the latest construction has expanded to include queue buildings on the front of the mountain.

- There is new furniture in the lobby of Disney’s BoardWalk Inn, while some of the remaining old pieces have been reupholstered.
New Merchandise

- A new packable tote bag themed to Sorcerer Mickey has arrived at Walt Disney World.
- In honor of the 75th anniversary of the classic Disney animated film “Cinderella,” new plush have arrived at the Walt Disney World Resort.
- A new winter Minnie Lug bag has arrived at The Fjording in Norway.

- A 2025 graduation cap with mouse ears is now available for purchase at Celebrity 5 & 10 in Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
- The Orange Bird Mickey-shaped soap dispenser is now available at Walt Disney World.

- D23 has announced a special new event celebrating Space Mountain as a part of their Spotlight Series events, which will be taking place in Orlando for the first time.

- The winner of Sunday’s Super Bowl LIX will be celebrated at Walt Disney World Resort this year. It is often held at Disneyland, depending on the logistics.
Disneyland Resort

- Construction is complete at the Cozy Cone Motel in Disney California Adventure and with walls down, a new ordering system has been revealed.
- The opening of Pixar Putt, a pop-up mini golf experience at Pixar Place Hotel, has been delayed until next week.

- Disney Cruise Line is returning to Alaska in the summer of 2026, with the Disney Magic visiting the destination for the first time.
- Disney Cruise Line has announced their full lineup of summer 2026 itineraries, with sailings to The Bahamas, Eastern and Western Caribbean, Europe, and Singapore.

- In the wake of the wildfires that have affected Southern California, Disney has announced new “LA Strong” T-shirts and accompanying donations to the American Red Cross.
- Former Disney animator Joe Hale has passed away of natural causes at his home in Atascadero, California at age 99.
Universal Studios

- Sources indicate that park operations will take over Epic Universe next week, a huge step in the park preparing to open.
- Images of Universal IPs (intellectual properties) are now appearing on the new Universal Orlando Resort digital signs.
- We were also able to get some brighter pictures of the new Universal Orlando Resort signs as the screens display images at night.

- Guests visiting Universal Studios Florida can now experience meet and greets with Dog Man, from the new DreamWorks Animation film of the same name.
- A festive Gator Junior shoulder plush has arrived at Universal Orlando Resort just in time for Mardi Gras.
- The town of Sweethaven in Universal Islands of Adventure is now blocked from guest access as Popeye & Bluto’s Bilge-Rat Barges undergoes its annual refurbishment.
