*UPDATED* “Fire of the Rising Moons”

Fireworks light up the night sky behind a rocky mountain structure. The scene is illuminated with blue lighting on the rocks and a structure with a red light is visible in the foreground.

“Fire of the Rising Moons” is a special version of the Disneyland fireworks show as visible from Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. It features “Star Wars” music and two original characters, Tohan Lege (the Lore-Weaver) and his dutiful astromech droid, Bard. It’s performed on select nights. The show has been enhanced with projections.

Watch the original version below.

*NEW* “Shadows of Memory: A Skywalker Saga”

An illuminated rocky mountain with colorful projections at night, featuring vibrant red and green hues reminiscent of a projection show. A spaceship is partially visible at the bottom, evoking scenes from Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge.

“Shadows of Memory: A Skywalker Saga” is also presented by Tohan Lege via his droid, Bard. The projection show on the Batuu spires takes guests through the Skywalker Saga, beginning with Anakin’s childhood. It is scheduled to perform once or twice each evening between 8:30 p.m. and 10:15 p.m. and will continue after Season of the Force ends.

Watch our video of the new projection show below.

Attractions

Hyperspace Mountain

Illuminated tunnel interior with evenly spaced rectangular lights in white, yellow, and red. Central track extends toward a dark, distant endpoint. Symmetrical, futuristic design.

Space Mountain becomes Hyperspace Mountain for Season of the Force. The track and layout of Space Mountain remain the same, but the visuals and audio are different, featuring John Williams’ “Star Wars” score, TIE Fighters, and more. There are also “Star Wars” elements in the queue.

This year, the overlay received updated effects. Watch our video POV below.

*NEW* Reclaimed and Reforged Scrap Parts Coming to Savi’s Workshop

A custom-built, reclaimed and reforged lightsaber with a metal hilt rests elegantly on a stand, illuminated by sunlight.

New “Reclaimed and Reforged” lightsaber parts will be at Savi’s Workshop for a limited time, starting on May 4. It joins the themes of “Peace and Justice,” “Power and Control,” “Elemental Nature,” and “Protection and Defense.” The new “remnants of ancient battles and abandoned scrap have been scavenged from the distant reaches of the galaxy’s outer rim.”

The new experience will also come to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge in Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

*NEW* Luke Skywalker & R2-D2 Meet and Greet

A person dressed as a Jedi and an R2-D2 replica captivates onlookers in a park, engaging with a woman holding a Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge souvenir.

Luke Skywalker is appearing in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge for the first time, along with his loyal droid, R2-D2. The two can be seen roaming the land near the Batuu marketplace.

This marks a major break in the Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge timeline. The land is generally set between “Episode VIII – The Last Jedi” and “Episode IX – The Rise of Skywalker,” but Luke appears as young as he did in “Episode VI — Return of the Jedi” and “The Mandalorian.” Disneyland has stretched the timeline before, though.

Food & Beverages

A collage of five food items captures the essence of a season of the force: a decorated chocolate dessert, a swirl of soft serve with berries, a loaded pita, a neon green drink, and a sandwich with grilled chicken and toppings.

Various new and returning limited-time “Star Wars”-inspired menu items are available throughout Disneyland for Season of the Force. View the full menus.
