More Animated Movie Billboards Added to Reimagined Courtyard in Disney’s Hollywood Studios

Animation Courtyard at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, which is being reimagined into the Walt Disney Studios Courtyard, has two more movie billboards. The old billboards on the Disney Jr. and “The Little Mermaid” soundstages were removed earlier this month.

New Walt Disney Studios Courtyard Billboards

Animation Courtyard at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, which is being reimagined into the Walt Disney Studios Courtyard, has two more movie billboards.

Now the Disney Jr. building is decorated with Dumbo and Zootopia 2 billboards. These replace images of Mickey and Minnie with the Disney Jr. logo, as seen below.

Lady & The Tramp and Tangled billboards were added to the latter building on Tuesday.

The Disney Jr. soundstage has been renamed “Stage 1” and will soon house a new show, “Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Live!” It’s set to open on May 26.

The courtyard is expected to open on the same day, but an opening date for The Magic of Disney Animation hasn’t been announced. Testing began for the lighting effects on the sorcerer hat.

The Walt Disney Studios Courtyard will include character autographs and handprints in the pavement. Inside The Magic of Disney animation, guests will encounter characters, learn to draw with Olaf, and play on an Alice in Wonderland playground.

What do you think of the billboards for Disney animated classics now adorning the courtyard? Let us know on social media.
