Walt Disney Imagineering filed another “General Construction” permit for Tropical Americas at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. However, the contractor provided indicates it’s for work on the playground.
Tropical Americas Playground Permit

Disney has said that Tropical Americas will include a new playground area for small children once it opens. Details on what this area is have not been shared, other than that there will be a playground.
The new permit contracts Landscape Structures, Inc., a commercial playground company. Their website states:
Our commercial playground designs create play areas that welcome all ages and abilities, become signature gathering spaces for communities and offer the most innovative and inclusive playground experiences.
A filing with the Florida Department of Environmental Protection earlier this year revealed the first details of the new playground. The documents show the location of the playground on the site of Cretaceous Trail. Located near DINOSAUR and Restaurantosaurus, this trail is currently home to the Daisy Duck and Chip ‘n’ Dale meet and greets. It looks like the playground will include at least two slides and a climbing structure.

Nine electrical work permits for the area were filed back in April and three Indiana Jones ride permits were filed in May. Disney also extended a permit for the Encanto ride, which also contracts Whiting-Turner. Most recently, six permits were filed for various locations, and then another two were just filed a couple of days ago.
