Scaffolding continues to expand frontwards at The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror, making it even more visible to guests from Sunset Boulevard.
Tower of Terror Scaffolding

Since our last update on July 7, the scaffolding at Tower of Terror has continued to expand forward. It is now more visible from the front as it creeps along the edge of the building.
A queue refurbishment began in early May. Later that month, flags came down from the gift shop exit and scrim covered some facade details. Then, scaffolding was installed on the far right of the facade above the shop.
More scaffolding has been added across the top center of the facade on the right side. It remains far out of guests’ way.

The scaffolding now covers the entire middle section of the righthand side of the building above the balcony walkway at the foreground.

We have yet to see signs of work on the building. Disney filed a permit for construction at the ride in March.
