Construction continues to progress at Disney California Adventure for the Avengers Campus expansion, with the latest changes including new paint being added to the restrooms and the removal of scaffolding.

Avengers Campus Construction Update

New restrooms are being installed as part of the land expansion. Since our last update, all of the scaffolding that had been surrounding the exterior has been removed again, showing the faux crumbling, weathered texture of the concrete. Removal of the scaffolding allows us to see the newly added gray drain collector box and downspout that had been hiding underneath.

Moving over to Cars Land, we also noticed new green paint on the restrooms. The facade still only has the singular tire repair sign, though there is space for more decorations to be added.

The green paint was added to the tops of the building’s columns, and a new green decorative window frame was added, making the building better match the aesthetic of Cars Land. Previously, the column toppers used to be gray.

Avengers Campus Expansion

Avengers Campus is currently under construction to include two new rides, Avengers Infinity Defense and Stark Flight Lab. The former will see heroes jumping through the multiverse to battle King Thanos, while Stark Flight Lab stars Robert Downey Jr. returning as Iron Man, leading guests through a test of new tech. A team of cast members who will work alongside Disney Imagineers to test the attractions has also recently been assembled.

The land expansion will nearly double Avengers Campus in size. Other expansion projects at Disney California Adventure include a new Avatar land and a Coco ride.
