As previously mentioned, all active Walt Disney World Annual Passes will be extended for the number of days the parks are closed. Currently, the parks are set to be closed through the end of March, or just over two weeks. Passes with renewal windows ending during the closure will also receive an extension of time to renew. For Passholders participating in the Annual Pass Monthly Payment program, all monthly payments will continue as scheduled. Once your payments are completed, your will still have the extra days provided.

Details regarding these new pass regulations will be reflected on the My Disney Experience website and app in the coming weeks, and pass blockout and admission calendars will not be updated during the closure.

If you’re heading to the parks this weekend to get your last bit of magic in, please clean your hands as often and thoroughly as possible, be it at the many new hand washing stations or by locating the nearest hand sanitizer station using the My Disney Experience app. We’ll be updating you throughout the final days of park operations, all the way through the reopening come April. In the meantime, stay safe and stay healthy!

  1. What does, “pass blockout and admission calendars will not be updated… ” mean? I am hoping they relax the blockout dates for spring break as I can shift my vacation a little, which means I’ll be there for two current blockout dates.

  2. But will they extend the resort reservations window for pass holder resort reservations? Right now, I am unable to make a reservation on the pass holder resort reservation page after my original annual pass expiration (but before the extending closing days expiration), If I try, I am forwarded to the annual pass renewal page.

  3. I might have missed it somewhere, but does this extended time also work for Discover Disney 4-day passes?
