As if the popular Disney Ink & Paint series of merchandise wasn’t collectable enough, a new set of ten pins has just been released, but hidden inside intriguing “paint jars.” We found these new mystery pin sets over in Magic Kingdom, so let’s get unboxing together and see what we can find.
While mystery pin sets usually arrive boxed in the parks, this Disney Ink & Paint set comes packaged in cute jars. The front of the packaging features the Ink & Paint-style Sorcerer Mickey, along with sketches of classic Disney characters.
On the back of the jar, we can see each of the ten possible pins in the collection pictured on the back. The set includes the Ink & Paint logo, a painters palette, Sorcerer Mickey, Pinocchio, Shere Khan, Jiminy Cricket, Merlin, Baloo, the White Rabbit and the three fairies. Each jar contains two randomly selected pins from the collection… which ones would you most like to receive?
The bottom of each jar is transparent, teasing us with a view of the blue wrapping which hides each pin from our view. There is no feeling these packs to guess which pin is inside, that’s for sure!
Of course, we had to purchase these jars and see which pins we could find inside. Can you guess which ones we received?
We got the Ink & Paint logo, the Mickey paint palette, Merlin, Baloo, Shere Khan and the three fairies! Which one do you like best?
This collection can be purchased over in the Emporium in the Magic Kingdom. Each jar costs $15.99. Don’t forget to read up on the updated Disney Pin Trading procedures in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic before you go. Happy collecting!
The new merchandise being released looks cool but since you can’t order from the parks right now it seems like a lot of it is going to waste.
I keep hearing that Disney isn’t making enough money right now but they are actually making it harder to buy their stuff!
