Magic Kingdom

- Tropical Storm Eta is currently raining over central Florida, but inclement weather can’t stop Santa Claus his elves from making their way around Magic Kingdom in a rainy day version of their Christmas cavalcade
- With the PeopleMover closed through at least January 9, the Tomorrowland refurbishments are moving along with work being done on the support beneath the track and supports for the attraction’s roof, as well as more canopy pieces being installed over at TRON Lightcycle / Run
- Everyone gather around the yule log and try this new “Yuletide Wishes” Christmas-themed treat from Magic Kingdom, a chocolate-lover’s Christmas wish come true
- Belle and her friends have whipped up a new Christmas tree—we mean treat — at Magic Kingdom, and we have your full review of Belle’s Enchanted Christmas Tree macaron treat here
- We’re loving all the new holiday treats now available at Walt Disney World like the newest ice cream creation, Minnie’s Merry Cherry Sundae at Storybook Treats
EPCOT
- Not only will Voices of Liberty be returning for the Festival of the Arts next year, they will be presenting a brand-new showcase in the form of the Disney Songbook, performing a variety of Disney songs across a history of Disney composers and lyricists
- Job openings have been posted on the career site that recruits French nationals to become Cast Members at the France Pavilion at EPCOT, hinting that “Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure” may well open in early 2021
Disney’s Hollywood Studios

- Join us on our photo tour of the park as we see the new Majestic Theatre neon marquee, Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway ride vehicle testing out some Plexiglass shields, and more
Disney Springs
- Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar, the popular Disney Springs watering hole, is ready to welcome guests during the holiday season and has decorated for Christmas both inside and out, with the sign above the entrance proclaiming that this is Jock Lindsey’s Holiday Bar now
Other Walt Disney World News
- After a painful Spring, Summer and Fall suffering the financial impacts of the ongoing pandemic, good news is on the horizon with U.S. Stock markets surging this morning on news of Pfizer’s highly-effective COVID vaccine, with Disney stock up more than 10% in premarket trading
- The full lineup of virtual events and presentation has been announced for the D23 Fantastic Worlds Celebration, which has gone digital due to the COVID-19 pandemic
- Disney Vacation Club has released their 2021 Annual Dues, which are on average increasing from 2020 by just over 5%
Disneyland Resort

- Similar to the phased reopening at Walt Disney World, the Disney Vacation Club section of Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa will be reopening on December 6, just in time for the Christmas season and a few weeks after the reopening of Buena Vista Street
- While Walt Disney World’s phased reopening is well underway, the Disneyland Resort’s reopening remains stalled, with hotel cancellations now extending through December 31
- When Award Wieners reopens on November 19 along with the rest of the outdoor shopping and dining district of Disney California Adventure, its menu offerings will look more akin to another DCA fan favorite, Corn Dog Castle—where corn dogs rule
- As if the laying off of 28,000 Cast Members wasn’t enough, Disneyland has announced additional furloughs as a result of California theme parks being “in limbo” for the foreseeable future
Tokyo Disney Resort

- While we’re usually focused on the two theme parks at Tokyo Disney Resort, there’s some fairly major work happening behind the two parks in the Bayside area—a new Toy Story-themed hotel is under construction and the Bayside Monorail Station refurbishment is underway as well
New Merchandise
- We may not get real snow at Walt Disney World, but we can still celebrate winter in style with this snow-covered holiday collection from Dooney & Bourke featuring a Mickey snowman
- Although Trader Sam’s Enchanted Tiki Bar is at Disneyland Resort, the bar’s new merchandise collection by Shag is now available at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort in Walt Disney World
- You’re probably used to hearing about a different kind of mask when we say Walt Disney World has new face masks, but these new masks are actually the skincare kind, and each one is inspired by a different Disney Princess or Villain, with moisturizing ingredients to match

- If the recent onslaught of Baby Yoda “The Child” merchandise is still not enough for you, then don’t worry—Walt Disney World has a new remote-controlled Baby Yoda which, for a limited time, also includes a complimentary Mandalorian lithograph with a purchase of The Child
- Disneyland has joined in the holiday fun with some beautiful new ornaments that allow you to see the inside and outside of the Enchanted Tiki Room, Main Street Cinema, and Sleeping Beauty Castle
Entertainment and Media
- Disney debuted a three-minute animated short entitled “From Our Family to Yours” which highlights festive traditions and shared experiences that connect generations and make lifelong memories
Universal Studios
Universal Orlando Resort
- There’s a new holiday ticket offer now available at Universal Orlando Resort in which Florida residents can purchase a 3-day ticket for $55 per day ($164.99 total) between now and December 17
Universal Studios Japan
- On March 31, 2021, Universal Studios Japan will celebrate its 20th anniversary with a huge celebration to commemorate and while we don’t quite have all the details yet, the park did reveal the theme of the anniversary—”No Limit!”
