Magic Kingdom
- We hope you have your plans for the 50th Anniversary of Walt Disney World already set, because it seems time has run out for Disney Park Passes at the Magic Kingdom, and the park is now booked for all guest types on October 1, 2021
EPCOT
- We spotted Josh D’Amaro, Chairman of Disney Parks, Experiences and Products, stopping to talk to guests in the World Showcase while we were live-streaming from EPCOT today
- We had perfect weather yesterday at EPCOT, so we decided to check out what was new here while trying some of the new food booths at the Festival of the Arts, and we put it all in this most recent photo report
- The historic transformation of EPCOT will take another step forward in early February with “The Soul of Jazz: An American Adventure,” a new exhibit debuting inside The American Adventure, featuring Joe Gardner from Disney and Pixar’s “Soul”
- The second of five Harmonious barges now sits in World Showcase Lagoon at EPCOT, and we have your up-close view of this new barge right here
- The La Gelateria stand, a new quick-service location is led by the Patina Restaurant Group that will serve delicious gelato, has now been installed in the Italy Pavilion of EPCOT
Disney’s Animal Kingdom
- Back in October, we reported that Disney’s Animal Kingdom rhino Kendi had given birth to a baby boy and since then, the baby has been learning and growing, and now you can see him for yourself and learn his name in this new video from Disney
- A new photo opportunity at Disney’s Animal Kingdom allows guests to pose with characters from Disney and Pixar’s Up
Walt Disney World Resort Hotels
- The holiday decorations are coming down as we enter a new year… that can only mean it’s time to get ready for Valentine’s Day and thankfully, Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort is already celebrating with a brand new cupcake
Other Walt Disney World News
- We learned recently that Disneyland Resort will become a COVID-19 vaccine super site and it seems that Walt Disney World could also host a vaccine distribution site, according to Gabrielle Russon in an update to her story with the Orlando Sentinel
- Walt Disney World flags are at half-staff following the recent incident at the U.S. Capitol, so ordered to honor the service and sacrifice of United States Capitol Police Officers Brian D. Sicknick and Howard Liebengood, and all Capitol Police Officers and law enforcement in the U.S.A.
- The Walt Disney World Monorail system has seen a number of changes since the reopening of the parks and resorts, and the most recent change is the addition of plastic dividers to form smaller isolated sections for guests to sit in
Disneyland Resort
- The Happiest Place on Earth will soon become the Biggest COVID-19 Vaccination Site in Orange County as new plans for vaccine distribution have been established for California in hopes of lowering transmission rates
- Additional details for Disneyland Resort establishing California’s first Super Point-of-Dispensing (POD) Site were released, including the location and more
- Sprinkles, the gourmet cupcake shop in Downtown Disney, has closed its doors, after previously being closed earlier in the year and then reopening in mid-September, and now it seems there is no word on an opening date for the establishment
Tokyo Disney Resort
- As announced this weekend, Tokyo Disney Resort has suspended ticket sales and are restricting park capacity to 5,000 guests as Tokyo enters a State of Emergency and in light of these restrictions, The Happy Fair with Baymax event has also been postponed
Disney Cruise Line
- The latest official cancellation announcement has come from Disney Cruise Line, which is cancelling all sailings departing through March 2021

- A week ago, we got our first look at the upcoming Stitch Crashes Disney collection — a monthly collection featuring Stitch “crashing” classic Disney film scenes, inspired by the Lilo & Stitch film trailers from 2002, to be released on the third Saturday of each month on shopDisney, and the first series, which is now available via MerchPass on shopDisney, will be Beauty and the Beast-themed
- Walt Disney World Annual Passholders can show off their elite AP status with this new passholder-exclusive Minnie Mouse ear headband
- Whether you’ll be celebrating Valentine’s Day at Walt Disney World or at home, this new The Lion King MagicBand is the perfect accessory for the special day
- If you love both Valentine’s Day and Halloween, then these matching Haunted Mansion couple shirts from the Disneyland Resort are perfect for you and your partner
- While stopping in at the World Of Disney store in the Downtown Disney District, we spotted this new pink glitter Spirit Jersey
- Though most runDisney events have been canceled or transitioned to virtual events only, there is still merchandise available at Walt Disney World including a new runDisney tumbler mug and Spirit Jersey in the Emporium at Magic Kingdom
- Disneyland Resort has a new Starbucks cup inspired by Disneyland and Disney California Adventure featuring iconic images from around Disneyland Resort, including Sleeping Beauty Castle and the Pixar Pal-A-Round, scattered across the plastic tumbler
- Whether you call him “The Child,” “Baby Yoda,” or “Grogu,” two things are certain — the tiny, green character from The Mandalorian is popular, and he is now available on a youth Spirit Jersey from Walt Disney World
- This new Minnie Mouse ear headband that we found inside a Disney Store is a festive way to celebrate Valentines Day, and we expect it to be available at Walt Disney World and Disneyland soon
The Walt Disney Company
- In a statement today, The Walt Disney Company has taken an even stronger stand against the events that took place at the U.S. Capital last week, stating the company will make no monetary contributions to lawmakers that rejected the Electoral College Certification which occurred on January 6th of this year
