Magic Kingdom

- The Cinderella Castle Stage refurbishment is coming along, we preview a new Dooney & Bourke collection, and more in our photo report
- The Swiss Family Treehouse is undergoing a short refurbishment at the Magic Kingdom and while we don’t know all of the details surrounding this short refurbishment, we did notice the netting that sits above the bridge to enter the Treehouse was replaced
EPCOT
- In our photo report, we find pavement work partially completed under Spaceship Earth, a new Limited-Release Annual Passholder MagicBand, and more
- We find new surprises around EPCOT, such as the Eggstravaganza Egg Hunt, an egg-clusive pin, and distanced character meet and greets in our latest photo report
- We came back to see what’s new at the site of Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind as work on the future attraction’s façade continues to move forward, noticing additional blue sheeting has been added to the newly-enclosed façade
Disney’s Animal Kingdom
- We find new Easter treats, try a Thumper Springtime Cupcake, find new Expedition Everest merchandise, and more in our photo report
Walt Disney World Resort Hotels
- Columns for the Monorail station at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort have been erected and work began on the platform last month, so we checked in on this project and others around the resort on our most recent trip
- Finding the Easter Egg Hunt Cupcake and Pastel Mickey Whoopie Pie lackluster, we returned to Gasparilla Island Grill at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa to try two more of their Easter treats
Other Walt Disney World News
- Disney Cruise Line has announced their summer 2022 itineraries and destinations, including new ports in Greece, Portugal, Latvia, Norway, Sweden, and Dominica, plus their first-ever summer sailings from Miami to the Bahamas
- The painting of the World Drive entranceway to the Walt Disney World Resort recently moved on to the archway and we checked up on the transformation
- Cast Member Jete (@showmelovejete) shared that he was fired from Walt Disney World after a series of TikToks he posted around the resort went viral, including showing that he snuck into the wedding pavilion and drank from Disney Springs fountains
Disneyland Resort
- In our photo report, it’s day two of “A Touch of Disney” event in Disney California Adventure and we found more entertainment and character options, free Pixar Pier games, crowds, PhotoPass, Merchandise, and more
Tokyo Disney Resort
- The latest set of candy cases on their way to the resort feature the iconic Jungle Cruise boats, skippered by Mickey Mouse, as well as Mickey on his drum set from the finale of Tokyo DisneySea’s long-running Big Band Beat, both releasing March 30th
New Merchandise
- To commemorate the 2021 Eggstravaganza Scavenger Hunt beginning at EPCOT, a limited-release “EGGstravaganza 2021” pin is now available to Walt Disney World Annual Passholders
- Though its finale aired two weeks ago, WandaVision had everyone raving and now new phone cases featuring the popular Disney+ series have popped into Walt Disney World
- Following the popularity of the Sleeping Beauty Castle cookie jar, a new cookie jar featuring Carl Fredricksen’s house from Up and its colorful balloons has made its way into the Disneyland Resort
- A brand new collection of merchandise dedicated to the 65th Anniversary of the Disneyland Hotel, which opened October 5, 1955, debuted at the Downtown Disney District this week
- Four unique stickers from artist Jerrod Maruyama feature instantly-recognizable Disney Parks icons join the lineup of “Kingdom of Cute” items sold at WonderGround Gallery in Downtown Disney District
- Tokyo Disneyland is turning 38 years old this year and, as is tradition for anniversaries at the parks, a small merchandise line featuring Mickey and Minnie in their finest regal garb — and a few dragons — is coming to celebrate
- An adorable new necklace and earrings set arrived at Walt Disney World, inspired by Disney’s Tangled featuring Pascal the camouflaging chameleon with a necklace and coordinating Corona sun earrings
- The ease of convenience has never been easier thanks to the latest Disney Parks card holders by Loungefly, featuring some true park icons
Entertainment and Media
- When speaking to Bloomberg recently, Disney CEO Bob Chapek mentioned that the release of the upcoming Black Widow film will be a last-minute decision and he did not completely rule out the idea of a hybrid release
