Hello from a lovely day here at the Magic Kingdom! It was a busier day here for us, with some exciting things going on, so let’s get started!
More work has been done on the Cinderella Castle Stage. White slats now cover the entire surface, and the wooden panels are crossing the center line and starting to cover portions of the right side.
More work was done on the repainting of Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, with the majority of the roof now finished.
Cool Ship also showed progress in the repainting department. These legs were painted black after being patched.
The inside portion of this blue wall was also repainted. For more pictures and information, including the rest of the painting progress made last night, check out our article here.
We found a new patch of fresh concrete in Tomorrowland. This one was just past the entrance to Tomorrowland Speedway.
Work on the repainting of the roof on Pinocchio Village Haus is coming along well, with this roof now complete.
Another patch of fresh pavement has been laid in the ongoing project to replace the stone work surrounding the drain in the middle of this Fantasyland walkway. With this patch completed, work is about half way done.
We found new construction walls today underneath Main Street Station. This is the second Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom portal to be removed following the game’s closure. For more pictures and information, check out our article here.

The biggest construction news of the day was the arrival of the first turret cap decoration on Cinderella Castle for the 50th Anniversary celebrations. All of these options are Gluten, Dairy, and Nut-free, and some of them are Soy-free as well. They retail for $3.49 each.
We found two new characters who had joined the character cavalcades today, and were positively radiant on their first day back in the parks.
