Magic Kingdom
- Work has begun on updating Jungle Cruise at Magic Kingdom to remove offensive content and update the ride’s story, and today, the ride’s iconic rhino pole was gone
- As the magic continues to grow on Cinderella Castle, the second level of turret caps is getting the décor treatment for “The World’s Most Magical Celebration”
- Roofing throughout Fantasyland at Magic Kingdom is being repainted ahead of the park’s 50th anniversary later this year
EPCOT
- The number of “points of light” on Spaceship Earth at EPCOT has more than doubled — where, a week ago, the first twelve light fixtures were installed, now there are at least twenty-eight lights
- Gateway Gifts has added pins to their merchandise selection as Pin Traders closes for a short period of time starting next week
Walt Disney World Resort Hotels
- Thanks to a Walt Disney World Cast Member, we can show you yet another sneak peek into the new Moana rooms at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort
Other Walt Disney World News
- Disney Conservation and other organizations have joined forces to create a coral breeding program to help with Stony Coral Tissue Loss Disease which is currently affecting coral reefs on the Florida coast
Disneyland Resort
- Guests hoping to score a reservation to Disneyland for opening day had quite a time booking their tickets as the Disneyland website crumbled under the pressure of so many users, leading to hours long waits and even taxing the overall system so much that the Walt Disney World app and website encountered outages
- That system eventually got up and running and the reservations were booked up quick, with opening day April 30 being completely booked first for park hopper ticket guests, and then shortly thereafter for single park ticket guests
- As Disneyland’s April 30th reopening grows closer, more Cast Members are being recalled to work and Workers United Local 50, a Cast Member union, posted on Facebook today about the newest recalls
Tokyo Disney Resort

- While the grand opening of Tokyo DisneySea’s massive Fantasy Springs expansion is still about two years away, Tokyo Disney Resort is gearing up to reveal the exciting expansion little by little, starting with three videos taking Guests through a scale model of the expansion
Disney Cruise Line

- Disney Cruise Line has canceled select sailings on the Disney Magic through October 9, 2021
New Merchandise
- After a week’s delay, Winnie the Pooh and some of his friends from the Hundred Acre Wood have arrived in Disney nuiMOs form at Walt Disney World
- The Mousewares collection of kitchen supplies has cooked up two new additions at Walt Disney World, and whether you prefer sandwiches or sweet treats, they’re worth screaming about
