Magic Kingdom
- On our most recent photo report, it started out a bit chilly, but warmed up quite nicely, and was a beautiful, sunshine-filled day at the Magic Kingdom
- As we previously reported it would, a crane has been parked behind Cinderella Castle in Magic Kingdom to be used for installing the rest of the castle’s 50th anniversary decorations
- On our trip to Tomorrowland this morning we noticed an out-of-this-world repainting starting at the Cool Ship kiosk
- Hello from another lovely but uneventful day here at the Magic Kingdom but despite the calm, we still found some fun things to show you in this photo report
EPCOT
- The fifth and final “Harmonious” barge has arrived on World Showcase Lagoon in EPCOT
Other Walt Disney World News
- As of today, Walt Disney World has updated their website to reflect an upcoming change in the face mask policy to allow guests to remove their masks to take an outdoor photo
- Walt Disney World will allow guests to remove face masks for distanced, outdoor photos beginning April 8 and Disney has now confirmed that PhotoPass photographers will take photos of mask-less guests outdoors
- Last month, Walt Disney World began testing facial recognition as a form of park entry and after our reporters participated in an optional test of the system, we have now received a survey regarding the experience
- Today it was announced that the 2021 Scripps National Spelling Bee Finals will be held at ESPN Wide World of Sports on July 8, 2021
- According to Orlando Business Journal, The Walt Disney Company and Tavistock Development Co. LLC are in talks to build a residential and commercial community in Lake Nona, Florida
- Recently, we were invited to Heritage Auctions in Dallas, Texas, for a preview of “The Art of the Disney Theme Park,” a Disney-centric auction that will take place April 8-10 and we were able to look at a rare piece of Disney’s America—the Executive Summary of Rezoning Application
Disneyland Resort
- Disneyland Resort’s theme park reservation system will open on April 12, 18 days before the parks reopen on April 30
- Among the new Disneyland ticketing information released today is confirmation that Park Hopping will be available upon reopening
- As we all look forward to the reopening of the parks, not all attractions will not be available on April 30 but we do have a full list of what will be open right here
- Among the attractions not reopening with the rest of Disneyland Park on April 30 is Jungle Cruise
- According to the Disneyland site, reservations for Savi’s Workshop open on April 22 while reservations are not currently required for Droid Depot (IF both locations are allowed to reopen)
- Operating hours have been released for Disneyland and Disney California Adventure from April 30 (the day of reopening) through June 28
- Today, while we were checking out the ongoing refurbishment at Disneyland Park’s entrance, one of the Disneyland Railroad trains pulled into the Main Street, U.S.A. station
- As the COVID-19 vaccine becomes available to more California residents, the state is tossing out the tiered reopening plan and moving forward with a new one
Tokyo Disney Resort
- Today, the Oriental Land Company released official concept art for the Toy Story Hotel, opening in 2021, as well as revealed the official name
Disney Cruise Line
- Disney Cruise Line has canceled all sailings through June of 2021 and European sailings through September 18, 2021
