Welcome to another wonderful day at Walt Disney World! Join us today as we discover all of the many new happenings at Magic Kingdom, Disney Springs, and EPCOT. We start off our morning at Magic Kingdom, where we’ll venture through the many lands and see what awaits us! Let’s jump in!
“Laughter is timeless. Imagination has no age. And dreams are forever.” – Walt Disney.
As we walked down Main Street, U.S.A., we admired the beautiful new Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary Celebration Medallion that was adorned on Cinderella Castle yesterday.
Today we saw even more updates to the Adventureland sign in an effort to make Disney parks more culturally sensitive. The shields have now been removed, as well as a tribal mask.
We were craving some hilarious Skipper puns, so we trekked over to Jungle Cruise to take a ride. While in the queue, we found the addition of a new package stating “Fwd: Jungle.”
Grim Grinning Ghosts have materialized, literally, on this brand new Haunted Mansion Funko POP! Hat by Loungefly! We recently saw this same headwear over at Disneyland, and it has now floated its way over to Memento Mori. This hauntingly adorable hat can be yours for $34.99.
Take a look as construction continues on TRON Lightcycle / Run in Tomorrowland. We’ve seen major progress on this attraction throughout the last few months. Today, we saw the addition of a brand new structure inside of the construction area.
We had to stop by and see our out of this world pal, Buzz Lightyear!
Speaking of our pal Buzz, we are very happy to see guests once again enjoying Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin! This attraction had previously been closed for refurbishment but reopened yesterday to the delight of park goers.
Preparation has begun at the multiple Quick Service restaurants that are set to reopen very soon. These include Cheshire Café and Prince Eric’s Village Market, which will both be reopening July 26.
Refurbishment is still underway at Be Our Guest Restaurant for the 50th Anniversary Celebration. We recently even saw the castle being pressure washed.
We stopped and had a quick dance break with Mickey and his pals! We were surprised to see that they were once again using automobiles instead of their traditional float.
After taking a stroll down Main Street, U.S.A., we bounced over to Disney Springs!
We popped over to Marketplace Co-op – The Dress Shop on Cherry Tree Lane, where we found the all-new Casey’s Corner Baseball Jersey! This jersey definitely hits it out of the park. It even features a “95” on the back in reference to the year that the iconic Main Street, U.S.A., staple opened, 1995!
“It’s Good to be Bad” over at DisneyStyle with the release of this new Villains collection! These wickedly stylish clothes feature iconic Disney baddies such as Hades, Scar, Dr. Facilier, and Jafar.
While at DisneyStyle, we also found some brand new “Walt Disney World Est. 1971” sweatpants. These comfy yet adorable pants are available for $44.99.
We continued to find new merchandise all around Disney Springs, this time in the form of new Baseball Caps at World of Disney. We recently saw some of this adorable headwear debut at Disneyland, and we’re glad it’s made its way to Walt Disney World as well!
Get ready to step inside the action of the upcoming Jungle Cruise film starring Dwayne Johnson and Emily Blunt with this Disney Springs photo-op! It is currently located near the AMC Dine-In Theater.
To close out our day, we decided to journey over to EPCOT.
Take a birds-eye view as construction continues throughout the park.
We’ve seen major progress on Creations Shop and The Re-imagined Club Cool recently.
Over in World Showcase, we found that you can now make some noise over at Refreshment Outpost! Up until now, the instruments have been available, but with no mallets to play them with. You can now jam out any time you want while taking a trip around the world.
That brings us to the end of our day! We hope you enjoyed traveling all over Walt Disney World with us. Which of these stylish new merchandise items would you sport around the parks? Leave us a comment below, letting us know! We’ll “see ya real soon!”
