50th Anniversary Commemorative Bricks, Red Jeweled Ears, 2022 Pin, & More: Magic Kingdom Photo Report 12/13/21

Seasons greetings! Our loop today includes Magic Kingdom, a Monorail ride, Disney’s Animal Kingdom, & Disney Springs — phew!

Before heading into the park, we hopped aboard the express Monorail line to see yellow was back from refurbishment! The interior has been redone, but the Monorail did not load to guests and was taken off of the track shortly after due to technical difficulties.

Inside the park at The Emporium, a pair of “Joy” Mickey Mouse joggers are available. For details on all of the merchandise we find today, be sure to check the daily merchandise roundup for pricing and more photos.

The newest pair of Minnie ears are red with an array of jewels.

Not the first time we’ve received this message, guests were alerted on their My Disney Experience app that Splash Mountain would be down for the day, although before leaving the park mid-day, it was back up and running.

A new “Mom ears” Pandora charm is at Uptown Jewelers.

The Orange Brrr’d Glacier is back on the menu at The Confectionery after being out of stock for quite some time.

Star Traders has a new Our Universe shirt featuring a sketch Mickey with an “M” & “28”.

50th Anniversary commemorative bricks paved their way onto the MaDe kiosks in Tomorrowland Light & Power Co. and celebrate each of the four parks.

TRON progress speeds ahead as the mystery structure receives more wall panels and the archway is built up.

We were at the ramp at Cinderella Castle to make it just in time to catch the 50th anniversary celebration cavalcade, although it was sans Daisy today.

Lightning Lanes in the kingdom today were not short, as this line that snakes in front of Haunted Mansion is only for the “fast” lane.

A few new Sketchbook ornaments arrived at Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe, including this Legacy piece celebrating 20 years of “Monsters, Inc.”

More solvent has been laid on part of the Jungle Green pavement in Adventureland.

A sparkling 50th anniversary blown glass tree is at Crystal Arts. Can you spot all of your favorite characters on the ornaments?

After heading back to the TTC, we took a ride on the EPCOT Monorail line to catch an aerial view of things happening down below. The Disney Springs and EPCOT exit off of World Drive is now open to cars.

Work continues on the roofing at the future Connections Cafe and Eatery near Creations.

Journey of Water construction is taken to new heights as structures arise from the piles of dirt.

Back on the ground at the Transportation and Ticket Center, we walked over to the cast member parking lot across from Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort to see a new structure with poles being built in the center of the lane of the new walkway.

Over at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, a new “Encanto” mural complete with flowers has arrived next to Discovery Trading Co.

The area in DinoLand that used to host Primeval Whirl now has wooden beams rising over the construction fence with new orange fans attached.

A small cart in front of Expedition Everest that was empty for quite some time now houses a small pin trading spot and Wilderness Explorer badge station.

Props and thematic signs and decor are now at the back of the docks at Disney’s KiteTails along the Discovery River Amphitheater.

Restaurantosaurus Lounge is still under construction, although a new stair ramp can be visible just beyond the walls.

Moving along to Disney Springs, a pair of Mickey Mouse “28” denim tie pants are at Disney Style.

A Star Wars “Use the force” black holographic windbreaker is at Galactic Outpost.

A “bagel” donut is available for the brave wanting both sweet and… everything but a bagel at Everglazed Donuts & Cold Brew. Read our full review here.

At World of Disney, a large plaid riser has been placed under the Walt’s lodge holiday castle in the holiday section of the shop.

Two new Mary Blair Alice in Wonderland items, a mixing bowl set, and vase, are in the home section.

Pinocchio received a new MagicBand with books, apples, and pencils alongside the wooden boy.

A Walt Disney World Mickey logo black windbreaker features a pattern of Mickey’s on the inside and sleeves.

New 2022 spinner pins are at Pin Traders to help ring in the new year not far off!
