• The Figment popcorn bucket will return this year with a special EPCOT40 strap during the 2023 EPCOT International Festival of the Arts.
• Full restaurant menus are now available for every food booth during this year’s Festival of the Arts as well.

Disney’s Hollywood Studios

• Lightning McQueen’s Racing Academy has remained mysteriously closed for the eighth day in a row.

Walt Disney World Resort Hotels

• Walt Disney World Annual Passholders can get up to 30% off hotel rooms this spring and summer.
• The discounts also go up to 25% for regular guests as well.
• Starting January 7, rooms across Disney’s Beach Club Villas are getting refurbished.

New Merchandise

• Lots of new pre-arrival MagicBand+ designs are now available, including a Vault Collection band, a Figment band, and much more!
• Disney teased a new Dumbo-themed Annual Passholder magnet to come soon.
• The latest piece of 2023 dated merchandise is a die cast Peterbilt hauler truck!
• We found an absolutely massive new Cinderella Castle Cake keychain available now at the Magic Kingdom as part of the Vault Collection.

Other Walt Disney World Resort News

• Details have been released on a resort-by-resort basis for the Disney Dining Promo Card deal coming this year.
• More former Cast Members have joined a lawsuit against Walt Disney World regarding their COVID-19 vaccine and mask requirements on the job during the pandemic.

Disneyland Resort

• We now have even more details on “World of Color: ONE” including the new song and some more of the films to be featured in the new show.
• There’s also details on how the virtual queue will work.
• The “Magic Happens” Plaza Inn dining package is set to return in February.
• Disneyland Resort gave us our first full look at the Disney100 Magic Key Holder-exclusive popcorn bucket art today.
• Some colorful stripes have been added to the side of Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel as the Pixar Place transformation continues.

Entertainment & Media

• James Cameron said in a new interview that “Avatar 3” will feature encounters with an “evil” tribe of Fire Na’vi.

The Walt Disney Company

• Disney has scheduled the first earnings call since Bob Iger’s return for early February.
