Entertainment

Halloween Screams

A nighttime scene at a theme park with silhouetted attractions, featuring colorful fireworks bursting in the sky amid Halloween screams from thrilled spectators below.

“Halloween Screams” is back as Disneyland’s fall nighttime spectacular at Sleeping Beauty Castle. The show features Jack Skellington as the “Master of Scare-omonies” and Zero alongside Disney villains and more. Keep in mind that while projections are part of the show for every performance, fireworks are only included on select nights (usually weekends).

Fire of the Rising Moons

Fireworks illuminate the night sky above a rocky mountain structure, with the scene predominantly lit in blue lights.

A new version of “Fire of the Rising Moons” is being presented in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. The show is performed alongside “Halloween Screams,” and features “Star Wars” narration. The droid bard presents the show on select nights.

Mickey’s Trick and Treat

Animated characters dressed in Halloween costumes are performing on a brightly lit stage in front of an audience.

“Mickey’s Trick and Treat” is back this year, and more guests than ever will be able to watch the Halloween-themed stage show. Normally, this show is only available during Oogie Boogie Bash, but this year, the show will be performed daily at the Disney Theater in Hollywood Land at Disney California Adventure.

Mickey and Friends Halloween Cavalcade

The Mickey and Friends Halloween Cavalcade is back for another year at Disneyland Park. The cavalcade features more Disney Villains than in years past, alongside classic Disney characters with their trick-or-treat buckets.

Haunted Mansion Holiday

A collage of Christmas-themed mechanical robots adorned with colorful lights and decorations, featuring gears, candy cane arms, skull motifs, and festive designs.

Haunted Mansion Holiday opened early this year with a virtual queue due to ongoing construction on the attraction’s new grounds. The seasonal overlay sees “The Nightmare Before Christmas” take over the mansion. This year’s gingerbread display in the mansion’s ballroom features a gingerbread man dubbed Lil’ Franky, created by Dr. Finkelstein.

It wouldn’t be Halloween time without the giant Mickey jack-o’-lantern in Town Square at Disneyland.

More festive fall décor includes jack-o’-lanterns along Main Street, U.S.A. and around the Partners statue in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle.

A whimsical, witch-themed car statue with a tall black hat and license plates stands outdoors as part of the Halloween decor. Three people are nearby, including a child looking at the car. It feels like a scene straight out of the Disneyland Resort.

At Disney California Adventure are more jack-o’-lanterns, window displays, and Haul-O-Ween décor in Cars Land. Lightning McQueen, Tow Mater, and Cruz Ramirez have also donned Halloween costumes for meet and greets.

Two large statues of cartoon characters dressed in festive attire stand in a vibrant garden filled with sunflowers, pumpkins, and colorful flowers, under clear blue skies.
