Magic Kingdom
- Walt Disney World marked 50 years of Space Mountain on January 15, 2025, with a private ceremony, fireworks launch, and celebrity memories.
- Crews are moving quickly on the intensive refurbishment of Big Thunder Mountain Railroad at Magic Kingdom
- Space Mountain at Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom celebrated it’s 50th Anniversary today, and to celebrate the occasion, Disney bathed it in gold light.
EPCOT
- The EPCOT International Festival of the Arts 2025 map and a Food Studio menu are now on display at the park.
- Guests got their first looks at the chalk art being created for the 2025 EPCOT International Festival of the Arts, as the festival prepares to open on Friday, January 17th.
Disney’s Animal Kingdom
- Chester & Hester’s Dino-Rama in Disney’s Animal Kingdom is officially closed. This marks the first phase of closures for DinoLand U.S.A., which will eventually become a Tropical Americas land. Take a detailed last look at the carnival area featuring TriceraTop Spin and Fossil Fun Games.
- As the demolition of DinoLand U.S.A. continues, sign removal has begun at Chester & Hester’s Dinosaur Treasures.

New Merchandise
- A new series of open edition pins available at EPCOT depict Mickey Mouse dressed up in traditional clothing representing each World Showcase country.

Disneyland Resort
- Construction walls are up at the entrances to Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure as crews work on the next set of new entrance gates.
- The final Tiana animatronic on Tiana’s Bayou Adventure in Disneyland has been broken for over a month.
- Disneyland Resort is taking in around 100 Disney Cast Members who have been displaced by wildfires in Southern California, many of whom lost their homes.
- The Haunted Mansion Holiday decor has been removed ahead of the attraction reopening this Saturday, January 18.

- Shanghai Disney Resort and Walt Disney Imagineering shared construction photos of the resort’s new hotel, officially revealing the basic structure is complete.
Disney Cruise Line
- A new ship’s log page from Disney Parks Blog, tracking progress on Disney Destiny, has launched. For its first update, a new timelapse video showing the ship’s exterior construction has been shared.
- A change in Disney Fantasy’s dry dock schedule has resulted in the cancellation of multiple sailings.

- The story of Daredevil will finally continue with the premiere of “Daredevil: Born Again” this March.
