Magic Kingdom
- Walt Disney Imagineering filed a permit for signage at the new Disney Vacation Club lounge under construction in Magic Kingdom.
EPCOT
- After previously spotting some green scrims being installed in EPCOT, work has now begun on the returning Butterfly Landing experience for the 2025 EPCOT Flower and Garden Festival.
- After the former resident manatees moved out, the manatee tanks in The Seas at EPCOT have four new short-term guests, with two currently visible to guests.
Disney’s Animal Kingdom
- The newest popular animal at Disney’s Animal Kingdom is Bakso the tiger cub, and guests eager to visit him are now forming a lengthy queue.
- The South Florida Water Management District (SFWMD) has approved Disney’s permit for the new Tropical Americas land at Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
Disney Springs
- A Super Bowl LIX Snickers Celebration is underway at Disney Springs ahead of this weekend’s big game.
- Everglazed Donuts & Cold Brew at Disney Springs has introduced new chicken tender meals to the menu, and we were there to try two of the dishes (and one extra item) for review.
- The Volcom store in Disney Springs will close along with all Volcom, Billabong, and Quiksilver locations in the United States.
Walt Disney World Resort Hotels
- At Gasparilla Island Grill at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, guests can create their own parfaits and acai bowls for breakfast.
New Merchandise
- A new MagicBand+ has arrived at Walt Disney World adding to the collection of Cinderella 75th anniversary merchandise.
- More keychains from the Disney Store Japan Sakura Collection and a few new Aristocats items have arrived in Disney Springs.
Disneyland Resort
- Disneyland Resort is honoring those who were on the frontlines of the recent Los Angeles fires with the complimentary Heroes Ticket.
- Luke Skywalker will make his debut at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge this year.
- Steel girders have gone up as construction begins on the new Earl of Sandwich location in Downtown Disney District.
- This year marks the 30th anniversary of the Indiana Jones Adventure attraction at Disneyland, and the ride will close for refurbishment this spring, shortly after celebrating the milestone.
