Three BDX droids will appear at Disneyland Paris for a limited time starting on May the 4th, a.k.a. Star Wars Day.
BDX Droids at Disneyland Paris
Disneyland Paris announced on social media that the red, orange, and green droids will be appearing in Discoveryland — near Star Wars Hyperspace Mountain and Star Tours: The Adventures Continue — from May 4 to May 24.
Disneyland Paris described their personalities in the post: “Red, the leader of the group, Orange, the forgetful one, and Green, the shy one”. Though they referred to them as their colors, we know their official names are Red, Grek, and Oskar. A fourth blue droid, Besh, will not appear at Disneyland Paris.
Ahsoka will also appear at Disneyland Paris for a limited time, and various “Star Wars” food items are available.
The BDX droids debuted at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge in Disneyland in October 2023 with a playtest. They then made daily appearances for a limited time in 2024 as part of Season of the Force.
The droids sailed on the Disney Wish earlier this year. They visited Tokyo Disneyland last month and will appear at Walt Disney World later this year. They will make their on-screen debut in “The Mandalorian & Grogu,” in theaters on May 22, 2026.
The BDX droids earned the 2025 Thea Award for Outstanding Achievement – Technical Innovation. Disney Research is training the droids for autonomous human interaction. Walt Disney Imagineering recently shared a Q&A with Grek.
