Walt Disney World
Magic Kingdom
- The refurbishment of the Gaston’s Tavern sign in Magic Kingdom is now complete, with the lettering filled in
EPCOT
- The freshest flavors of spring – on the plate and in the glass – are showcased at Taste of EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival and now you can take a look at all those fresh flavors that will be offered at the festival this year with our list of all the food and drinks coming to more than 20 festival-exclusive Outdoor Kitchens
- While there may not be a Garden Rocks concert series at the 2021 Taste of the EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival, Disney has announced a series of concerts featuring local bands from Orlando, also known as the “City Beautiful”
- Work continues on the entrance of EPCOT as the first set of flags has been installed in front of Spaceship Earth
- There’s something new to see almost every day with EPCOT’s major construction projects and in what will soon be the World Celebration neighborhood, work continues on refurbishing MouseGear
- The façade of Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind in EPCOT has been mostly enclosed with wood paneling, which means synthetic sheeting is the next layer to be placed
- We had a beautiful weather day for visiting EPCOT to check up on all the construction, see the new topiaries that are going up in preparation for the Flower and Garden festival, and check out all that’s new and good at the park, and bring you this photo report
Walt Disney World Resort Hotels
- The Walt Disney Company is hiring a Hotel Services Director for the brand new Star Wars Galactic Starcruiser Hotel at Walt Disney World
Other Walt Disney World News

- We reported yesterday that Park Hours were extended for several theme parks over the busy spring break season, but further changes have been made again today, reflecting more extensions for what is usually the busy Spring Break period
Disneyland Resort
- On a trip to Downtown Disney, we stopped by Salt & Straw to try one of their monthly ice cream flavors that has come out of their vault — Strawberry Tres Leches
- Another trip to Disneyland Resort means another sampling of Salt and Straw’s ice cream, and today we tried another flavor from the vault but unlike the other vault flavors we’ve tried, Brown Ale & Bacon ice cream disappointed us
- Los Angeles County Supervisors voted on Tuesday in favor of Assembly Bill 420, which seeks to let theme parks reopen in Tier 3 of Governor Gavin Newsom’s Blueprint for a Safer Economy, much earlier than currently planned
- We reported in January that the Jungle Cruise attractions at both Disneyland and Walt Disney World would be undergoing cultural sensitivity changes and recently, permits were filed to begin construction to modify several scenes in the attraction
- Even though the Disneyland Resort was closed during its 65th Anniversary, the celebration has continued through commemorative merchandise offerings, and now a few festive decorations at the Disneyland Resort, as the tram route is full of decorations with Mickey Mouse and some of his friends to celebrate their slightly belated 65th anniversary
