PHOTOS: Cast Member Previews Begin at Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway, Construction Chugs Along Outside of Chinese Theatre in Disney’s Hollywood Studios

After years of anticipation, Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway finally opens in less than two weeks. Today, we saw one group as it prepared to be treated to a preview of the attraction.

Cast members are lining up to get their exclusive first look at the attraction. While select cast — like the attraction’s opening day team — have already gotten to experience the ride, cast previews for the rest of the Walt Disney World cast started today. But cast members aren’t allowed to spill the beans just yet; A-frames state that camera and phone use is not allowed.

Planters staged just yesterday now barricade the ride’s exterior queue to prevent eager guests from crashing the cast member preview.

From the other side of the queue, planters extend toward the entrance to Animation Courtyard.

Elsewhere at the Chinese Theatre, there are a few odds and ends hanging about.

At the left side of the theater, construction continues on the potential merchandise area for the attraction. This area previously housed a photo op for Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway.

Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway opens at Disney’s Hollywood Studios March 4; a new poster was just released to promote the attraction. WDW News Today will be at the attraction on day one to bring you all the opening fesitivites.
