PHOTOS: The Ganachery Reopens with Made-to-Order S’mores and New Safety Measures at Disney Springs

Seeing the many shops and restaurants of Disney Springs reopening after their months-long closure due to the COVID-19 pandemic is always good news, but this one is especially sweet.

The Ganachery has reopened at Disney Springs, allowing guests to once again enjoy its creative variety of chocolates. To help control crowds and enforce social distancing, each of its doors has been specifically designated as an entrance or exit.

Upon entering, guests are greeted by a Purell hand sanitizer dispenser to the left of the entrance.

We learned that the shop is still producing made-to-order items, including s’mores, with certain precautions added to the delivery process. Guests can still place their order and watch them make it through the kitchen window.

The chocolate maker then places it on a special section of the shelf, after which guests can pick it up. This minimizes physical contact between staff and guests.

But if you’re looking for something else, there are still plenty of different options to choose from!

There’s no shortage of chocolate goodness here! You can even have Mickey or Minnie Mouse on your a chocolate!

In addition to all cast members wearing masks, a Plexiglass window has been installed between the cashier and the card reader.

A floor marker has also been placed, asking guests to stand in front of the window. There’s no shortage of safety measures here!

The Ganachery joined a large group of businesses reopening at Disney Springs this week, including Ever After Jewelry Co., Disney Pin Traders, DisneyStyle, Goofy’s Candy Co., Candy Cauldron, Disney’s Days of Christmas, MARVEL Super Hero Headquarters, and Raglan Road Irish Pub and Shop for Ireland.
