Hours on the Walt Disney World website have since been updated, and Blizzard Beach is now scheduled to be closed through January 2, 2024. The park is then set to reopen on Wednesday, January 3.

Central Florida is set to see highs in the mid 60s for the next week with partly cloudy conditions.

Disney’s Blizzard Beach has closed several times this season due to adverse weather, which is not unusual for the water park. The park reopened on November 6, while Typhoon Lagoon closed for the winter. Blizzard Beach closed early on November 16. It was closed for all of Thanksgiving Day and the following day, November 24. More low temperatures caused the water park to be closed on Tuesday, November 28, and Wednesday, November 29. It closed again on December 6, December 7, and December 11. The park closed early, after just two hours of operation, on December 12. It was then closed from December 16 through December 20 due to storms and low temperatures.
