Magic Kingdom

- We caught a new piece of the illuminated canopy being installed at TRON Lightcycle / Run in the Magic Kingdom, and you can see the video here or down below
- The Magic Kingdom toll plaza is nearing the end of its 50th-anniversary refurbishment project, as painting begins on the final group of lanes
EPCOT
- The “Magic of Possibility” is gaining new momentum this morning at the ever-changing EPCOT, with a new permit filed for “Project G”, also known as Project Gamma—the name Imagineering uses when they refer to the project involving the complete reimagining of the entrance of EPCOT
Disney’s Hollywood Studios
- Disney has rolled out a newly-revamped boarding group procedure for Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance at Disney’s Hollywood Studios in light of guest feedback and now, guests have the option of booking as early as 7:00 AM on the day of their Disney Park Pass reservation from the comfort of their hotel room or any location “near” the park

- It looks like The Majestic Theater is coming to Disney’s Hollywood Studios, replacing half of Legends of Hollywood, as new neon lettering of “The Majestic” was spotted above the scrim-covered Legends of Hollywood marquee
- Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway is testing Plexiglass dividers on ride vehicles, much like Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance did before adding Plexiglass to all vehicles
- The steamboat on Echo Lake at Disney’s Hollywood Studios long ago lost its whistle sound effect, which would echo around the area, but after years of the effect being broken, it has finally been restored to the S.S. Down the Hatch
Disney’s Animal Kingdom
- Dino-Bite Snacks at Disney’s Animal Kingdom has a new seasonal snack perfect for the still warm Florida weather — the Pumpkin Cookie Ice Cream Sandwich
Disney Springs
- Disney Springs always comes alive for the holiday season at Walt Disney World and recently, Disney announced details on some of those holiday offerings coming to the shopping and dining district, including Santa’s Winter Watercade, live entertainment, and a modified version of the Holiday Scavenger Hunt

- Take a bite of this adorable new Baby Yoda (“The Child”) mousse now available at Amorette’s Patisserie in Disney Springs
Walt Disney World Resort Hotels
- A new Fall cupcake is now available at Capt. Cook’s in Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, and it’s practically perfect with a pumpkin swirled on top
Other Walt Disney World News

- We reported early in the day that Walt Disney World had increased their Dining Reservation capacity at all table service restaurants but as of 9:20 AM, dining reservations became temporarily unavailable as it was discovered that expanded reservation availability was caused by a technical issue, and Walt Disney World released a statement clarifying that they have NOT increased capacity at their table service restaurants
- Later in the day, Walt Disney World Dining Reservations became available once again, albeit not as plentiful as earlier in the morning
- The Walt Disney World entrance archways are getting a makeover for the resort’s 50th anniversary next year, and work has begun on the Western Way entrance with fresh paint applied and ornamental flags removed
- With New Year’s Eve just a hop, skip, and a turkey away, Walt Disney World has begun surveying guests who are staying on-site during the last week in December for their thoughts on New Year’s Eve celebrations and experiences across the parks, Disney Springs, and at the resorts
Disneyland Resort
- Buena Vista Street in Disney California Adventure will soon be reopening shopping and dining for Downtown Disney District guests, and we’ve just spotted some Cast Members preparing the street and shops for reopening, plus the beloved Red Car Trolley has made a surprise appearance
New Merchandise
- New Black Widow merchandise is arriving at both Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World, and we recently found a new reversible children’s jacket, Loungefly backpack, and tank top in Disney Springs
- New holiday-themed and year-round appropriate phone cases featuring Baby Yoda (“The Child”) and the Mandalorian from The Mandalorian are now available at Walt Disney World

Universal Orlando Resort

- While navigating our way through Jurassic Park today, we spotted several new additions along the Jurassic World VelociCoaster construction site including a variety of fresh new trees and plants, as well as details and fencing added to the raptor paddock
