Magic Kingdom
- The refurbishment of the Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover at Magic Kingdom has been extended once again, now through February 28, 2021
EPCOT
- As the demolition of Innoventions West continues in EPCOT, more and more of the building is being stripped away
Disney’s Animal Kingdom
- Primeval Whirl is permanently closed, and while the attraction has been sitting relatively abandoned in DinoLand U.S.A. at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, ride vehicles were removed in late July and now, six months later, a piece of the track is gone
Disney Springs
- Ashley Eckstein, the voice of Ahsoka Tano in Star Wars and the founder of the Her Universe fashion line, will be in Disney Springs next week to celebrate the launch of her Disney nuiMOs collection
Walt Disney World Resort Hotels
- As we learned it would last year, the Big Blue Pool at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort is now closed for refurbishment
- After some new cell towers were installed at the EPCOT resorts, more are appearing elsewhere around Walt Disney World and today we spotted some new towers at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort
Other Walt Disney World News
- The Orlando Sentinel just announced that a new strain of COVID-19, B.1.1.7, which was first found in the United Kingdom, has now been found in Orange County, Florida, where Walt Disney World Resort is located
- Walt Disney World Resort updated its mask policy to clarify that guests who have received the COVID-19 vaccine must continue to wear masks at the parks and around the resort hotels
Disneyland Resort
- Since the announcement that the Star Wars Trading Post store will be taking over the old Rainforest Café building in Downtown Disney, a lot of work has already been done to retheme the outside of the façade
Disneyland Paris
- Though Disneyland Paris is not scheduled to reopen until April 2, it has now been announced that the World of Disney store at Disney Village will be opening once again for guests to shop on weekends through February 14
Disney Vacation Club
- Disney Vacation Club is introducing a new scavenger hunt throughout Walt Disney World called “Scenic Selfies,” to begin on February 16
New Merchandise
- We’ve all made foolish mistakes, but yesterday we spotted perhaps one of our favorite Disney mistakes: a Haunted Mansion door hanger with the word “foolish” misspelled as “folish,” and it seems Disney received our sympathetic vibrations, as a corrected version of the door hanger has materialized overnight
- Two new Minnie Mouse ear headbands are now available at Walt Disney World, with designs that resemble Minnie ears from the past but the headbands are now adjustable
- The Italy Pavilion in EPCOT has a new Dooney & Bourke bag collection inspired by the country, which matches the MagicBand that was released in December
- The classic Minnie Mouse flower hat we spotted at Disneyland Resort a few days ago is also now available at Walt Disney World
- We found a plethora of new merchandise on our most recent trip to Downtown Disney District in Disneyland Resort from a new collection of Mickey Mouse newspaper print apparel, to some new kitchenware, and more
- There is a new line of Baby Yoda “streetwear” making its way into Walt Disney World and we already spotted two of the collection’s items at EPCOT
- While rumors are still spreading regarding Indiana Jones 5, Walt Disney World has introduced some new merchandise for the famous franchise’s other films, like this Indiana Jones sweatshirt and unisex tee

Disney+
- “The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers”, a series follow-up to the famous 90s films, is debuting on Disney+ on March 26, 2021 and we just got our first look at the teaser here
