• We’ve been keeping a close eye on the Magic Kingdom for what new things we could find, especially with all the construction here recently, and we want you to come along to see it all in this beautiful photo report

EPCOT

• It feels like it’s been quite a while since we’ve been to EPCOT, and we were excited to check out what new things we could find here and bring you this photo report
• After months of watching the interior, walls, and roof of Innoventions West at EPCOT be demolished, the building’s actual structural supports are now finally being removed
• The centerpiece for Harmonious, EPCOT’s new nighttime spectacular, recently received massive arms backstage, and now those arms have been seen on a portion of the base for the massive structure arriving on the World Showcase Lagoon
• As the transformation of EPCOT continues, we’ve been keeping you up-to-date with information on all the construction going on at Innoventions East and West and in our last update, we shared a look at the refurbishment of MouseGear and now even more exterior work has been done

• The Patina Restaurant Group is hiring an Executive Pastry Chef for the brand new Space 220 restaurant at Walt Disney World
• Work continues on the entrance of EPCOT as the second set of flags has now been installed in front of Spaceship Earth

Disney’s Hollywood Studios

• Since last summer, we have sat down for dinner at Mama Melrose’s Ristorante Italiano on Grand Avenue at Disney’s Hollywood Studios twice, and now we’re ready to share our thoughts with you

Disney’s Animal Kingdom

• New themed floor markers have been added to the loading area of Kilimanjaro Safaris at Disney’s Animal Kingdom — not physical distancing markers, they are simply used for keeping guests in the correct numbered row before boarding a vehicle

Walt Disney World Resort Hotels

• Walt Disney Imagineering has filed a new permit for theatrical lighting and controls inside Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser, the upcoming interactive hotel near Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge in Disney’s Hollywood Studios
• A second permit for Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser was made available today, this one for show sets

Other Walt Disney World News

• Walt Disney World has updated its face mask policy, expanding the policy to include “Face coverings must be worn while standing, waiting or sitting in dining locations,” like while sitting at tables

Disneyland Resort

• If you haven’t heard, WandaVision is currently the most popular TV series in the world and to celebrate the Disney+ series, a special Starbucks frappuccino has been made in its honor and we have your full review of the very Technicolor frozen drink right here

New Merchandise

• Whether you’re graduating from fifth grade or college, you’ll want to celebrate with one of these new 2021 graduation Mickey ear caps now available at Walt Disney World
• We recently spotted a new big feet plush at Disneyland Resort, and now you can add this adorable, friendly winged-horse to your collection
• While at the Magic Kingdom today, we found a couple of new PopWallet+ designs at the Emporium
• The latest Disney Parks Designer ears are by artist Alex Maher and celebrate Mickey Mouse in all his different incarnation, and the ears are now available at the Disneyland Resort

• A ghostly new MagicBand from Dooney & Bourke is now available at Walt Disney World — this Haunted Mansion MagicBand matches the Dooney & Bourke bag collection released last September and the same art has been on leggings, shirts, and more in the past year

Entertainment and Media

• The unlikeliest team of heroes this side of Xandar are gearing up for another round, as Marvel Studios’ Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 is set to begin filming later this year
• Thanks to Previews World listing an upcoming 2022 calendar, an image of the superheroes of Marvel’s upcoming film Eternals has surfaced online, giving us our first full look at the costumes of the new heroes
